I was introduced into the electrology world having an unwanted hair problem myself. I used to tweeze my chin daily, wax my upper lip, and epilate my face, ouch! I would always be uncomfortable going out in public, feeling like everyone was staring at me and my chin hairs. I was apprehensive about coming in for a consultation in 2016, but am I glad I did!
Now I'm happier and more confident in my own skin. Electrolysis changed my life, and I can help you change yours.

Services
Electrolysis is the only FDA approved method to permanently remove unwanted hair. Electrolysis can be performed on any type of skin or hair, for both men and women of all ages. Electricity is delivered to the follicle through the probe, which will in turn damage the cells that cause hairs to grow. Then we remove the hair, but we do not pluck, if the hair was treated correctly it should slide out of the follicle effortlessly.
Healthy skin is hydrated skin. Moisturizing helps your skins elasticity, and in turn will help your electrologist achieve smooth insertions. Going into a hydrated follicle makes the electric current act at its most potential, achieving the "slide" of the hair, which is what we want. It also minimizes discomfort during your treatment.
It is normal after electrolysis, for the treated area to be red and slightly swollen. Both of these should go away an hour or two after your treatment, but they can last a little longer depending on the length of treatment. In general, avoid any kind of activity that can irritate the skin while its in the healing stage.
Everyone has different pain tolerances, we try to make you as comfortable as possible by tinkering with the machine to find your perfect settings. We have a vibrating pad on the bed and stress balls to calm your nerves. We also offer Zensa numbing cream. If the treatment area on an average person with average hair is treated every 6 to 8 weeks, the hair should be eliminated within one year.
