Amazing food! Its a little modest place but makes you feel at home. Extensive menu with lots of genuine Italian dishes, even ones you normally don’t see at restaurants. Props to the owners (the cutest little old Italian couple), they served and prepared our meals!Best peanut butter pie I’ve ever had!!! Will definitely be back when we are in the area again!
The photo is their spinach artichoke dip with pasta chips. So yummy!

This is a unique place and it happens to be close to my house. Pasta fagioli is delicious. Complimentary garlic knots are tasty. Italian house dressing is outstanding. You gotta try it! Veal marsala was wonderful. Penne parm, not so great but menu is huge so lots to choose from. I didn't like the sauce but that's just me. Wine is a bit over priced for a little neighborhood joint. I've had the pizza before and it's OK. This is Buffalo, so lots of competition, but not bad. Come here for the ambience/experience and friendly owners who are always working.

We love Faso’s! The food is consistently delicious, the owners are so friendly and kind. What can be said of the decor? It’s unique! Don’t go if you’re in a hurry. Things move kind of slow but worth the wait!

A true hidden gem of buffalo!!! I took my wife to Faso's for the first time and we will definitely be going back with family and friends! A quaint little restaurant that makes you feel like you are in Old Time Italy. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely out of this world!!! And while you are there be sure to look at all of the plaques on the wall to see how much they donate to charity :-) Ciao Bella:))

Definitely a quirky place that’s somewhat hard to describe but I recommend you go in with an open mind. Garlic knots were super fresh and the food came out reasonably quick for just an elderly couple running the whole show. Food was just ok, but great for the price. Simply put, it’s a grandma’s Italian cooking.

I would give no stars if I could! Highly disappointed, first time here and thought I was getting authentic Italian food but sadly I was mistaking!! The food was absolutely horrible! There was no flavor what so ever, everything was overpriced as well and lastly the female who answered the phone was extremely rude and gave no solution for are horrible experience! The garlic bread was not even mediocre, it was legit a sub roll with melted cheese on top which was 12 dollars.

This is definitely an “old school” Italian restaurant with an extensive menu. The service was good and my meal was ready for pickup and hot when I got there.
I was excited for finding an every-day fish fry near me when I had a hankering for a fish fry.
The fish fry was good and I was able to have a side of spaghetti instead of macaroni salad.
In the future I’d like to try the scallop and chicken dishes, there were dishes served here that I haven’t really seen at other restaurants.
The parking lot has lots of spaces and has a small “beer garden” section in the rear for outdoor dining

Four stars includes a 1/2 carafe of wine ;) and also because they let us in 20 minutes before opening time.

This is a great place to come to forget about the outside world. It feels like a time warp inside - in a good way. If you're lucky, the green neon will be turned on and you can sit next to it.
If you haven't been to Faso's in a while you'll find that nothing has changed.

I highly recommend this place! First time we have been here and we love it so far! The owners are so sweet and nice. A little old couple and they are so nice! The food is excellent! I got the potato gnocchi and my husband got a hot chicken finger sub! We will definitely be back! Such a small and cute little restaurant!!!!!

Very very nice dinner at Fado's tonight. I had the Shrimp far Diablo. Wow! It was excellent. I opted to have linguini instead of angel hair pasta. Tons of large shrimp with popcorn shrimp galore and chunks of plumb tomatoes in a rich red sauce. Hubbie had lobster ravioli in lobster sauce. Somehow he managed to eat all of it. Our other diner had the chicken piccata. Again another larger portion with tons of capers in a lovely lemony sauce. We all got garlic knots and salad. We shared stuffed peppers as an appetizer. Everything was fabulous and some leftovers ensure some tasty lunch another

My greatest friend of mine of 21 years and I went for the best experience over. From the moment we went, it was love at first sight. The decor was beautiful. The elder man behind the bar, it felt like we were family he didn't see forever. Our cute little table was waiting for us because we called and reserved a table for us to avoid the wait. The waitress was wonderful with helping us find what we wanted on the menu. Omg the house salad dressing that the waitress told me to try was amazing. You have to try it. I swear if I could buy it by the bottle, I would. The dinner portion was huge. Neither

My favorite Italian place in Buffalo. Charlie and Sue are phenomenal hosts / waitress, with dinners that remind me of Grandma Aloisio. (Maiden name) Brought tears to my eyes. That says enough for me. First time in 15 years of getting takeout, that I actually dined in. It was a very pleasant experience.

I've been meaning to review this place. Went there the Friday before Mother's Day with my mom and dad. Had never been there before. Let me tell you what a surprise inside the place is old school but covered in Christmas lights and decorations. Which I really loved it and so did my parents because we all are Christmas nuts. The server was nice in there like 30 some years. The salad and homemade dressing was amazing as was the homemade garlic knots. Calamari was good. And the meals we're decent too. The most impressive thing and while I will go back is because the owner came over to

What a shock. Was here years ago, thought it was fair. Something possessed me to order from DoorDash for myself and kids. What a mistake.
Soggy, previously frozen Calamari rings. Bad slivers of over cooked chicken in the Alfredo and Caesar salad.
Hairs found in Alfredo which smelled spoiled. Right down garbage disposal. Romaine lettuce was all outer leaves. Restaurant should be ashamed at presentation. Ground veal patty, in veal parmigiana. No side of Pasta. Antipasto is a joke. Oscar Mayer cold cuts. Disgusting. Garbage disposal. $100 worth of food. Waste of money. Sad. Hoping it would be old

Olde-world style Italian ristorantes in any upstate city are becoming harder to find. Check whatever preconceptions you may have about Venice and Gondolas at the door and come enjoy the flavors and story of this family's assimilation into America, Buffalo style. I enjoyed the Sicilian Eggplant dish with a side of (extra long) spaghetti. The sauce, a family secret for generations, brought it all together nicely. Don't get shook by the Assissi's in the tub, the rosaries, and other shrines to the Pope and Sinatra, they all tell the story of one family's journey from Sicily to New

The minute we entered the door we were made to feel loved and appreciated. The owner said, "hello" and the super friendly waitress welcomed us and told us all about the place, the specials, and the family recipes that are used in the menu items. The decor, while a bit over-the-top, was kitschy and warm.

The menu has just about every old-school Italian dish imaginable. Pasta dishes: yup. Veal: yup. Eggplant: yup. Tripe: you betcha. The two of us (not being the most adventurous) opted for glasses of house Chianti and plates of spaghetti and meatballs. Dinners were served with (amazing

Probably the most under-rated Itailian restaurant in Buffalo!!! The owner truly cares about his customers, and tries to ensure everyone has an amazing dining experience! The food is top notch and the service, even better!

Food was stale, mash potatoes were sour, very over priced for bad food. I only put one star because my the site wouldn't let let me continue. Zero stars. Should of been a warning when no one was there for a Friday night and no one else ever came in, but first time there and now I know. I get nausea just driving by there.

If you are looking for old school homemade Italian cuisine Fasos on Niagara street is the place. This hidden gem has been around for over 40 years. It's the perfect place to come with a group or just a cozy dinner for 2. This particular visit was just that my husband and I visited on a cold evening in March. Our server greeted us warmly and brought water and menus right away. They do not have a full bar but do serve wine and beer.

We started our first course with a large bowl of Chicken pepper noodle soup accompanied with their basket of warm buttery cheesy garlic knots. Boy what a

The best part of my dining experience was leaving. The food was terrible at best. The chocolate peanut butter pie is indescribable. It smelled and tasted like some kind of alcohol and lacked any chocolate or peanut butter. The server was very chatty and kept complaining how short handed they were, but they only had 3 tables. She kept us waiting for water for over 20 minutes, and when the water arrived it was warm tap water without ice.

Weird decor. christmas lights and a bunch tchatchkes. bizarre, not endearing. the walls need to be painted.
BUT
we had the stuffed peppers, hot yellow peppers halved and stuffed with piped ricotta. they were delicious. Don had spaghetti with a meatball and a sausage, I had braciole. The sauce was savory, on the thin side; tasted good. I wasnt crazy about the braciole because I didn't like the green pepper in the stuffing. Garlic knots served with dinner were outstanding. This wouldnt be my first choice, but would certainly go back.

There was a hair in the spaghetti parm, which also had very little cheese. There were Italian spices just plopped on top of all the dishes as if someone had knocked over a spice jar onto it. The tripe portion was tiny and smelled rank. All in all, this place left me with a bad taste in my mouth, probably wouldn't order from here again.

Amazing food, this place is old school. The keyword Old. Meaning expect to walk in to a place that's been around for over 30 years. The decor is holiday splendor almost magical and the minimal staff is very welcoming. The Bruchetta was amazing app, the sauce delicious, and the food is hot and made to order. House dressing is a fav. Homemade Peanut Butter pie is not to miss. Don't expect high end wine list, but it was good.
