We provide matching finishes and repairs to the highest quality using modern practices and traditional techniques.
While many people can fix furniture, fewer people both care about antiques and have the knowledge and skill to genuinely restore them. David Rickard at DR Restoration is one of these exceptional people. He is very clearly committed to providing good service and doing quality work, which he showed me in carefully considering what would be needed to repair my antique and delivering a very nicely repaired piece.

Job was well done, in timely and professional manner. My bench looks great, gave me 2 prices, one for it done perfectly and for it done were it would still show some (one) mark. I went for the cheaper repair and my old teak bench which was completely broken looks almost perfect and is now po perfectly useable. I will bring more furniture in to be fixed by D&R Restorations, very happy I found them.

I chose D&R to refinish my dining room table and hall table because they were responsive to my inquiries and competitive in price. The pickup and delivery was done exactly as scheduled, they explained exactly what they could and could not do (the tables were badly damaged) and presented the options; and the work was performed to my expectations. They were very professional throughout, and even helped me assemble and disassemble my spare dining room table to use during the time of work. I definitely would use their services again.

Great experience with D&R! I brought in a settee purchased at auction in bad condition that needed reupholstering as well as restoration to the frame, several broken legs, etc. Dave reinforced and rebuilt the frame and reupholstered with a great nailhead trim. Looks beautiful and feels like new.
Communication was fast and craftmanship was top notch. Pricing is also very transparent which is a plus as I had a bad experience with another upholsterer where the price kept increasing. Would highly recommend.

They were great! They refinished a damaged cabinet I had due to an installer running a light cable through it. They also repaired some discoloration and tear I had inside due to water damage which caused the inner cabinet material to tear and rip. It looks brand new!

I am super HAPPY with my decision to take my Wife's Chaise to be fixed here. Brand New and the Molding was detached for less than I thought it was fixed by D & R Restoration in less than 10 minutes. It has been 4 month since and the Chaise and the repair work IMPECABLE. Well done will be coming back again as good old furniture can't be replace by the new JUNK at furniture stores now.

Dave is a true Old World style master craftsman and artist. First class job on anything he touches. Highly recommend. I had him upholster furniture that my great grandfather made and carved that is well over one hundred years old. Not sure I would have trusted anyone else with it since it is family heirloom. I should have written this review sooner, but I cant say enough good things about D&R! Dave was fantastic to work with and really understood my vision. I inherited a 1950's dining room set that had been painted several times by my grandmother. There is a china cabinet, buffet, dining table and 6 chairs. Dave stripped all the pieces and revealed the original wood veneer and was able to repair and stain it beautifully! In addition, he repaired one of the chairs that was broken AND made a new identical table leaf that was lost over the years. It fits perfectly. He also gave me a few spots to pick

I contacted David out of the blue and on a total whim to repair a hunk of walnut my family had been lugging around for 40+ years. We were moving and wanted to finally have it refinished to use as a coffee table. David was easy to work with and reasonably priced. We are so incredibly happy with how it turned out (before and after pictures below!). I HIGHLY recommend D&R Restoration!
