Do not touch the brows for 2 hours. You must then gently clean the brows of blood or sebum with a clean gauze or cotton pad and clean (preferably distilled) water by gently dabbing them. After cleaning apply a thin layer of post care ointment (Aquaphor is recommended) with a clean cotton swab. Do this once every hour for the rest of the day.

You can resume most regular activities immediately after your procedure. There are certain activities which you must avoid for up to 10 days post procedure such as vigorous exercise, swimming, and sun tanning. Your artist will go over this list with you along with your after care instructions. Scabbing can occur, however, following your after care instructions diligently will greatly reduce the occurrence of scabs or peeling.
Certain health conditions or medications may result in greater risks of performing the microblading procedure. Long Island Microblading always puts the health and well being of our clients first, therefore it is sometimes necessary for us to require a doctor's permission to perform the procedure. In some cases we may refuse to perform the procedure all together if we feel that it will cause too great a health risk to the client.

I'm loving my new eyebrows going from very thin to thick brows feels amazing... I got several compliments already! The first few minutes procedure was painful since she doesn't apply numbing gel, but after she does apply the gel and you don't feel pain, just pressure. My brows felt normal in less than two hours. I must say Tara is very talented, knowledgeable, caring, she knew what she was doing! She explained me the post care instructions in a very precise manner (I don't think even my Medical Surgeon went over post op instructions like she did). She's definitely an artist

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time now, but better late than never. Bought my mom a gift card to get her eyebrows done here for her birthday. The owner, Tara, was so nice and went over everything in detail regarding the procedure, before and after care, etc... Told her my mom was 68, but Tara said she works on women of all ages and she’d be fine. I ended up going w/my mom for the appointment and saw myself how great it really was. I am so happy I went here. Tara did an amazing job. She is so knowledgeable, talented and educated about what she does. I went for a consult and then booked it. She stenciled them on, gave me time to look at them and insisted I think about it for a moment- but I loved them right away.

First....I just want to say that I almost never placed a review on any service or product that I have purchased, however I would be doing a disservice if I had chosen not to review Long Island Microblading's technician Christine!! She spent more than half an hour creating the shape of my eyebrows where I had nothing left, and she made so many changes to make me happy! My experience with Christine has exceeded and surpassed my expectations. After waxing my brows for so long I had very thin and hard to see brows. I'm guilty of waxing and tweezing years ago making my eyebrows on the thinner side. I have been interested in micro blading for a couple years and finally came around to doing it. I spent MONTHS researching people who microblade across Long Island in search of amazing work and a good reputation. After a million possible locations to choose from I came across Tara at Long Island Microblading in Massapequa. I gave her a call to see when she would be available for an appointment and she was able to get me in within a couple days of calling. I explained that I previously had my eyebrows tattooed about 3 years ago by a licensed permanent makeup technician but it had almost fully faded and wanted to try Microblading instead.
