Founded in 1993 by Kim Nolan, RN, Progressive Alternatives continues to explore rehabilitative solutions to assist adults with neurological, orthopedic, cognitive/behavioral impairments achieve realistic goals in a home like environment.

Specializing in post hospital Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury and Orthopedic Trauma, Progressive Alternatives works in close cooperation with families, physicians, case managers and community resources in offering our clients creative, relationship-centered care and a complete range of services following hospital discharge.Fees are based upon the intensity of care required to achieve realistic goals.

Having worked in rehabilitation nursing, case management and program development with people who were physically/cognitively/behaviorally challenged, Kim was seeking a positive alternative to a nursing home setting.

In forming Progressive Alternatives, she created a viable setting where individuals who have undergone hospital-based rehabilitation might achieve a high level of care, structure, and support as they continued to work towards realistic functional goals.
Progressive Alternatives provides a full range of professional and supportive services for our clients to ensure the achievement of realistic goals. Recreational Activities, ie swimming, music, bowling, gym membership, travel, attending community events, computer classes, etc. What we Do: Provide rehabilitative solutions to assist adults with neurological, orthopedic, cognitive/behavioral impairments.
Service animals perform various tasks and functions for the disabled and help them lead an easier life. They are trained for specific tasks which they become experts at eventually and are able to provide enhanced quality of care and serve as outstanding companion animals for their owners. They are either trained by private organizations, or by a disabled owner.

Why would the owner have her own son, Brian, write a review? And how do we know the other people who wrote a review aren't office staff? Very unfair, reviews should be from the field staff.
