I grew up in San Luis Obispo real estate. My step-father owned and ran a commercial brokerage and my mother, after being a local school teacher, spent about a decade as a residential agent. Real estate was the conversation around the dinner table. After going away to college and working as a journalist for half a decade, I returned to San Luis Obispo and started a family and new career in real estate.
As someone who grew up working in my family's custom homebuilding business, my knowledge of quality construction and my great design instincts make me a natural at helping my clients to truly find their dream home.

I was raised in Southern California by a successful real estate broker and have been immersed in the real estate market from a young age. I have been married to a local architect for 14 years and have assisted in all aspects of property design and development. I have spent over a decade on the Central Coast.

I have never worked with such a professional and competent real estate agent. What was supposed to be a simple off-market 1031 exchange real estate transaction turned into a highly complex situation; if it weren’t for Amy’s level-headedness, professionalism, and optimism I probably would have walked away from the entire transaction. We absolutely love Amy! She is the best in the business and we were so lucky to have had her guide us through buying our first home. Amy Daane is simply the best real estate agent along the central coast of California. We were looking to purchase a property on a 1031 exchange, and were on a very tight timeline. Amy was our buyers agent when we bought a sought-after home in San Luis Obispo. Thanks to Amy’s knowledge of the market, as well as relationships with other agents in the area, we were able to come out the highest of multiple offers.
