Under no circumstance should you EVER consider putting your loved one in Rosegate or any of their other house of horrors! American Senior Communities is a puppet company created by Health & Hospital Corp. of Marion County to shield them from liability for the shocking incompetence of the staff they employ to staff their facilities in Indianapolis. Absolute bottom of the barrel. Do not do this to your loved one or to yourself!

Please do not invest your time working within this company. I was an employee for 10 long years, loved my job & everything about it. Never had one single write up. Never called into one shift. My ED allowed my new "manager" to fire me without any warning or legit reason right before Christmas time. I dedicated a decade of my life to be let go simply because my manager did not like me. Don't waste your time making a career out of ASC. I wish I could post pictures on here of how the current manager of dietary runs her kitchen. It is truly disgusting.

I have every intention of finding out how to get the so called leaders of these places terminated. Senior citizen r under the care of these people.

My mother recently passed away in the memory care unit at Rosegate Village after 2 long years of fighting the horrible Alzheimer’s disease. Without Heidi and her team in memory care I personally don’t think mom would have made it as long as she did. Heidi is the most caring yet professional nurse I have ever dealt with. They bent over backwards not only for mom but for me as well. Bless the women who take on this job. There could never be enough compensation.

This place is a joke! The administration at the New Castle facility bullies their employees and discriminates against people of a certain age. It is sickening the things that the employees are being told so they are constantly having to walk on eggshells and in fear for their jobs. I highly recommend you don't work here or send your family where the facility has had several abuse cases. Completely unhappy with the experience.

I worked for 7 months very unprofessional director and housekeeping supervisor makes derogatory remakes against employees do not care for employees or some residents who have no family visits only cares making money , very low wages have employees come in work drunk worst place i ever worked. I will not recommend no one to work or put love one in there faculties .

My experience as a former employee of the Northwoods Village Community in Kokomo I can attest that this facility is poorly managed. While they did have a few good nurses most of them are railroaded out or quit due to the work demand and lack of support. The turn over rate is extremely high. I have heard nurses talk to residents in hateful and condescending tones that border on abuse. Call lights go unanswered for lengthy periods of time. Some skilled nursing units have almost a 40:1 patient to nurse ratio. THE FOOD IS A JOKE. They are almost always running at 100% capacity which makes it impossible
