When an aging loved one can no longer lead a full life without daily help, it might be time to consider an assisted living facility (ALF). Many seniors choose assisted living in order to maintain a sense of independence, stay socially active, and prevent family members from the responsibility of 24/7 caregiving.
Senior independent living communities are full-service accommodations for elderly individuals who want to live on their own with minimal upkeep. Although these facilities are marketed toward seniors who are healthy and mobile enough to be independent, they're also designed to simplify life for active adults by providing optional services like meals, transportation, housework, exercise classes, and social events.
Memory care facilities offer 24-hour assistance and deliver more comprehensive, personalized care than most other forms of senior living. Larger residential care communities - those offering multiple levels of care - often have a dedicated memory care unit or wing, which is typically separate from independent living and assisted living.
A nursing home is a residence for seniors who don't need ongoing medical care like in a hospital or skilled nursing facility but can't live independently because they need help available at the push of a button 24 hours a day. Some nursing homes have on-site medical care available, while others don't.

Paul Kim was very helpful assisting me with options for nursing home care for my mother. He was very knowledgeable about the different programs available to her. Paul has a great aptitude for answering questions about such a big decision for people dealing with this problem. I would recommend Family Assets Group to anyone needing information about nursing home care.
