Services
Scientific Spray Finishes has three Wet Booths, one of which is used for Class A Wet Finishes. We can finish metal, plastic and wood using industry leading polyurethane and water based paints. Scientific Spray Finishes can apply a wide range of VOC compliant liquid coatings. The coatings can be engineered to meet a wide range of applications where a wet coating is more appropriate for practical requirements.
We work with our customers to address such issues as exterior durability, screen print adhesion, critical texture patterns, application difficulties and tight color tolerance. Depending on the powder coating application we use either our 8'x8'x18' Batch Oven or our Conveyor Powder Oven with an opening of 36"X 48" that is capable of baking parts up to 8 FT.
Powder coating is an electro-static application of pigmented or clear compounds, in finely ground powder form to parts requiring protective coating. The powder is cured by heating or baking, resulting in a hard, durable, continuous coating. Powder coating produces a high specification coating which is relatively hard, abrasion resistant (depending on the specification) and tough.
