The pain specialists at Washington Center for Pain Management use the latest technologies and procedures to help the men and women of Western Washington find pain relief. The team consists of award-winning pain management specialists, anesthesiologists, nurse practitioners, and therapists. Pain management usually isn't just about a single physical issue.
Multiple physical, emotional, and psychological concerns may also come into play, and our team of providers can address all of them. Because of Dr. Hong, I am virtually pain-free in my lower back for the first time in years. Previously, I was subject to regular attacks of debilitating pain that would make me a near-invalid for several days at a time.

Being a daughter and an RN, I do my utmost to keep on top of my aging parents' medical needs, especially while living abroad. I know WCPM has been around for a long time and one thing I believe wholeheartedly is that they do their best for each patient. Chronic pain patients have the stressors that all of us deal with day to day and on top of this, every movement made can be agonizing. I understand not everyone may have been satisfied with their visit, but I'm wondering if they were given a prescription for long-term benefits vs. short-term which requires hard work, maybe worse pain before it gets

I pay out of pocket and the medication he prescribed is way too expensive for me to pay out of pocket even with a discount card. But he won't prescribed anything else so I will end up in the hospital. Good thing I ran home from an abusive relationship and it been hell trying to get any help. I was going to the same provider for almost 3 years and never had any problems with her. This guy is a bully. They care about the money more then their patients.

My last procedure I arrived an hour early as requested and it took two hours for them to get to me. Expect your follow ups to be a 5 minute appointment with 45min-1hr wait. I was early to all appointments and had to reschedule one time to get my 5 year old to the ER (1.5hr notice) and there was no mercy or exception I received a $75 fine (reschedule or not) I will not be back

My husband Jim had been suffering for over 10 years from a back injury and nerve damage when we contacted WCPM. They suggested an electric battery implant, a trail surgery to determine if that type would work. They said the trial period would last about a week. After the wires were installed in my back and 2 days later the wires had disconnected and the trial was over. In that 2 day period he had experienced 70% less pain, so we oked the surgery for the permanent implant. After 2 plus years and hundreds of hours and hundreds of miles driving from home to doctors offices and thousands of dollars

Absolutely useless. I went here because I moved here from the south very recently and needed a doctor to take over my existing pain management medications and treatments. The doctor refused to do anything at all and said that I have to go see a cervical spine specialist. He also refused to give me a referral for one and my GP told me that he wouldn't either, that the pain clinic had to. That's an endless loop that never treats me at all.
Furthermore I was chewed out and told that I was in the wrong because I asked them to take over treatments and medications they didn't diagnose of prescribe and

As others have said - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY here. I specifically told the dr my insurance would not cover name brand, generic only. He still prescribed a name brand at over $700 out-of-pocket. As I stood at my Pharmacist's counter, they called and left a msg, as well as faxed, he ARROGANTLY claimed I was lying, he never received a call, and never responded to the fax. All he wanted was the massive kickback they get when they prescribe name brands, and when confronted face to face was rude and blunt.

So I really liked this clinic when i first started going. Over the past few months they have really gotten worse at their services. I recently had a doctor cancel my appointment so he could take a longer Christmas vacation and rescheduled me for late in January.
This would have been fine if they were willing to refill my prescription. I am on the lowest dose of hydrocodone possible following multiple surgeries from a work place injury that has left me disabled. However, you have to visit the doctor to get your monthly refills. They are refusing to do a refill because it has been 3 days over their

If you like having lots of surgery then sign up with Washington Center for Pain Management. Surgeries, injections, it goes on and on. You get the idea. As long as you sign up for every invasive procedure they can think of they help you. Run from these guys. They also own the labs they use so you'll see $3600+ lab fees that insurance won't cover. They weren't covered "in-network" when I was there and don't know who does cover their costs ... oh, wait I did! Lots of locations in Washington (9 and counting). They have zillions of locations, but...

I was sent here by my GP last summer to continue my pain management, until my multi level lumbar fusion. I was referred to Dr. Yongyi Zhu. My first visit was great, we went over my options and next steps. I've done every prevenative measure to avoid surgery, he made me see a shrink before he would give me my meds. I saw the shrink was cleared for my meds. I went back for my follow up, and that's when things went south. He refused to give me my meds, said I had to get injections, even after I explained I couldn't due to an adverse reaction. Which is noted in my medical records! He got very rude

I’ve been living with debilitating back pain from an injury for almost 4 yrs now. After many trips to the ER and too many sleepless nights, I finally decided to get some help. When the spine Dr. Told me there was too much damage to my spine and I wouldn’t benefit from surgery, I felt as if I was doomed to live the rest of my days in pain. However, he referred me to the Washington center for pain management and my experience was quite pleasant and encouraging. The receptionist was very nice and very helpful. I was seen by
