In March, my husband and I take my truck in, to have the brakes replaced, my husband told them we wanted metallic brakes. We pick up our truck and they tell us that they have put Ceramics brakes on. My husband didnt agree but we left them on there. We were told they were "supierior" brakes. We were also told we needed to have the front axle resealed. Oh and not to mention that if we didn't have the A.C. compressor replaced it would blow up in our new radiator (which they also replaced) then they came back and said oh no it won't blow up when questioned about it. Jenkins Automotive fixed my front left headlight ($40) and then it went dead again 60 days later. I brought my car back and the gentleman at the front counter said I would need to buy a whole new light fixture for several hundred dollars.
I took my car to Emma's automotive, and they fixed it for free...the mechanic said whoever did the repairs before just didn't put it back together right!

Albeit Mike was able to assess, adjust & ultimately avoid the a good portion from the laundry list of skyhigh-priced repairs other shops insisted, I can't help but convey my candor & contempt at the ever rising price (s) in cost to fix a car, no matter how simple or complex.
