Postle Dental Group has deep roots in dentistry stemming back 93 years with Dr. Herb Postle representing the third generation of a family committed to dental practice and education in Central Ohio. In 1923, Wendell Dean Postle graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, opened his own practice, and became a part-time faculty member at the college.
After serving at the college as an instructor, Wendell was named dean of the College of Dentistry in 1939 and at the age of 39, he was the school's youngest dean serving for 25 years. As part of your dental exam, an oral cancer screening will be performed by your dentist. The goal of this oral cancer screening is to detect mouth cancer or precancerous lesions at an early stage. There are many risk factors that can increase your risk of oral cancer. Tobacco use, including but not limited to, cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco and snuff.
Dental cleanings are one of the most common forms of oral health care and preventative dentistry. Dental cleanings include removing plaque and tartar that have built upon the surfaces of your teeth. Consistent dental cleanings can help prevent serious oral health conditions and can keep your teeth and gums healthy.

Only one visit but so far so good. Staff was very friendly. Dr. Lisa was fantastic. Actually seemed concerned and listened rather than just telling me what I néeded to do and wound up quickly fixing my prior dentist's shoddy work. Finding a new dentist is not easy but so far I'm very happy with this choice.

I had a great deal of dental anxiety but everyone made me feel at ease. They were so friendly, patient, and explained every step of the procedure. The professionalism was apparent in all the staff, from the receptionist who first took my call to the assistants and hygienists to the dentist. Excellent practice. Highly recommend!

I am beyond pleased with the care and consideration that I received at Postle Dental over the last 10 days. Although I was new to their practice, they saw me immediately on two occasions for complaints of pain, which were related to an infection of one of my molars. The problem was promptly diagnosed and treated, and I am again pain free. I was tremendously impressed not only with Doctors Lisa and Michael but also with all of the support staff.

Over the recent holiday weekend, I developed a tender swelling on my gum. Calling for an appointment Monday morning, I was worked into a busy schedule. Just 2 hours later, I was in a dental chair at the Postle Clinic getting X-rayed, diagnosed and treated. Dr. Willman and the staff were professional, pleasant and
efficient. They made me feel welcome, instead of an unwanted extra patient in a busy day. This is an excellent dental practice, far and above the average!

Dr. Lisa and the entire Postle Team are incredible! Every step is explained, every question answered and I get to watch whatever I want on television during my appointment! I have had morning, afternoon and evening appointments so they understand having opportunities for any schedule you may have. The entire staff of Postle Dental Group will blow you away. They are so kind and make sure your experience is a positive one. Everyone is so personable and you can tell they love what they do. Dr. Lisa, Kaitlyn, and Alyson took such great care of me. They fixed a chipped tooth I had right before my wedding. The filler matches perfectly and you'd never know! I can't wait to go back for future visits.

Honestly what can I say? This is by far the best clinical experience I've ever had, anywhere. Tracie and Dr. Mike are two of the nicest and most knowledgeable people I know. Front office staff was considerate, super cheerful, and always helpful.
They did amazing work and I feel so much better for it.

I've been a patient of Dr. Herb Postle since about 1988. I am grateful for the quality of care from Dr. Herb and his staff. All of the dentists, hygienists and front office staff are kind, caring, skilled professionals. On my last visit, Dr. Herb provided me with disposable earphones so I could listen to music during my visit. Many thanks, Dr. Herb, Jessica, Dr. Mike, Erin, Dr. Lisa, Mary and all! Having said that, PDG is great! Very efficiently run office and everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. Make sure you are on time to keep things moving smoothly throughout the day. From the moment you walk in the door, everyone makes it feel like you're the only patient there. Not the typical "dentist" feeling.
They are out of network for me, so that makes it a little pricey. But I think it's worth it!

We moved our entire family to this practice. My kids HATE the dentist and Postle was amazing with them, knew how to keep them relaxed and ok through the cleanings. My son said it was the first time he didn't dread going back. I found them to be extremely thorough and professional. Dr Lisa especially kind and caring. So glad we made the move, highly recommend.

I've never been a fan of the dentist but this group makes it easier. All staff members I have encountered are nice and polite. They explain what they are doing before and during the act of doing it. Dr. Lisa is the only dentist I've seen and I won't be switching any time soon! She is extremely kind and professional, offering conservative options and different feed back to help any issues you may have. I would definitely recommend this practice and Dr. Lisa to all friends and family!
