Very overpriced and the staff is not all that friendly. On several occasions they didn't give me change as if they forgot about it. On another occasion the prices listed on the items were wrong and I was overcharged. If you are gullible you will be ripped off here.

You know…I have to say what a difference a day, or few makes. Of course I had to go back to this store after writing a review for one, to speak to the owner about his worker and two, to get something no other store carries in my immediate vicinity of where I live. I learned that the help that was there on the day I had my bad interaction was already dismissed and that perspectives can change when things get corrected. I had a completely different experience returning to the store and I am happy that Steve does look out for the best interest of his customers. Plus he does have a lot more to offer

I feel really uncomfortable shopping here. The owner makes inappropriate comments about not knowing a certain language and tries to initiate a discussion about some political controversies. I only go here because there are not many Indian stores around Amherst.

I love Indian food, spices and treats. This is the store to get all of them and more. The owner has introduced me to some "quick and easy" dinners that I love as well. Friendly and serviceable people (and the prices are great!)

Indian food and spices available, once found a pack of noodles that was bitten into by a rat. No other sign of said rat was found that day and otherwise the store is okay.
