Whether you've been preparing Far Eastern dishes all your life, or you want to try to making your favorite Oriental dish for the first time, we will be delighted to help you. We carry an ever widening variety of Asian food products that can be used in making dishes from several different cultures, as well as cooking ware, imported dishware, teas and oriental herbal medicines, and gift items.
This March we explore Kimchi, ChaJangMyun, Bibimbop, Bulgogi, Mondu and other Korean classics. Class size is VERY limited so call today to reserve your space. Kenneth and Yonok Elsner married in Korea in 1987. In 2006, they purchased OMI Oriental Grocery, an Asian Specialty Food Store that has been in business in Springfield MA for over thirty years.

Great market! Has a large variety of asian groceries. The guy behind the counter provided excellent service and when I was talking with him, he noticed that I accidentally grabbed the wrong variety of the product I was looking for...I would have bought the wrong item if weren't for him. I will definitely go back again.

Quaint little Asian food market with a variety of Korean goods. Not many options for fresh produce when I visited, and it's a bit small but the prices were very very reasonable. The shop owner was so kind and friendly. They organise their inventory well so it's very easy to find what you're looking for. They also have a jumbo size pack for gochujang!

I walked in out of the rain looking for a place I could purchase authentic kimchi and some other hard to find Asian ingredients for cooking at home. The owners of the quaint little store were extremely friendly and helpful. I found everything I needed, as well as some things I didn’t know I needed. I have been looking for a place where I could purchase authentic Asian ingredients for the meals I cook at home and my search is now over. I will be a regular customer from now on. Better yet, the owner let me know that she holds cooking classes to teach how to prepare authentic dishes, too. I am looking

Great store to find many Asian staples. Store owner is extremely friendly and helpful. She is always willing to give recommendations and cooking tips for whatever meal you are looking to prepare.
Cooking classes run on the weekend are absolutely fantastic! Wooden carvings are unique and fun additions.
Can’t wait to go back, this will definitely be my go-to place when I need produce, snacks, and quick meal items.

A smaller store but what they do have is great! A lot of things you wouldn't normally expect to see and the store is very inviting with authentic asian food and ingredients for a very good price.
They're also very friendly which is always a big plus!
Been there multiple times and never had bad experience!
