Came over here from the VA. Dr. Franks has a very good reputation and for good reason. Although he's hanging up his shingle after 42yrs I still felt comfortable. Having a little cleaning, fix a filling and a couple other minor issues has been done with ease. The front staff and dental assistants areTexas friendly and pleasant! Delinquent in seeking dental care for almost a decade, I was hesitant to proceed with an appointment. Knowing that dental health can play a role in heart health further validated the encounter. My take: do not wait. Schedule an appointment & ensure your dental well being. Excellent staff for which any trepidations that I had conjured of being placed in the vise were soon alleviated. I was in Harlingen for the day and on a whim I called Dr. Larry Franks office to see if I could get my teeth cleaned. There was a cancellation so I was in luck. The hygienist Monika was so professional and gentle but very thorough. The best cleaning of my teeth ever. When you first walk in Vanessa the secretary dips your hands in paraffin wax and covers your hands. While Monika the hygienist is polishing your teeth Vanessa massages your hands. I felt like I was in a spa. See you in 6 months.

I picked Dr. Franks off of the internet on a "hunch", and after reading some of his profile. We were able to get a "new patient" appointment very quickly. As soon as we opened the door we were greeted warmly, with courtesy and friendliness. His entire staff was fantastic. Dr. Franks was wonderful to work with. He did not rush us, and spent the entire appointment time in the room with us (as opposed to running in and out with other things), and answered all of our questions in detail. We recommend him very highly.

Absolute best! Many years with many dental practices and this is the finest. Dr. Frank's a man who truly masters his profession. His hygienist had got to be the BEST in the business. It is so refreshing to see that people care, she makes you feel this that.

The staff is excellent. From the moment you walk in the door Vanessa greets you with a warm smile. My dental hygienist Monika does a great job of explaining the procedure, cleaning, etc.. that is being performed. And Dr. Franks is as kind as can be. He is very thorough and knowledgeable in his field. Plus you get a hand massage, music and a blanket supplied to you during the procedure to help make your experience more relaxing. What's not to love about this place? There's no other place I'd rather go. I'd like to thank DR. Franks and his staff for the wonderful service they provide.

Such a great place to get my teeth work done, Ill start with Vanessa, She is awesome, such a sweet and nice soul, Ive dealt with Vanessa most of the times i go and she's someone that makes going to a dentist office very easy and calming. Dr Franks is HONEST, i find this to be most important, he is calm, he is great at his work, but most importantly i feel like is a very honest person, you don't always get the news you want to hear, but he's gonna give it to you straight and tell you what your options are. Love going here and you will too. A dentist office that takes pride in scheduling there patients

Absolutely love this place and would not go anywhere else! Everyone is extremely nice, patient, knowledgeable, comforting, and eager to help. Dr. Franks is a gentleman and is extremely intelligent. He will tell you exactly what you need and there's no smoke and mirrors. They offer a complimentary paraffin wax/hand treatment/hand massage to help ease your jitters while they clean your teeth! They offer sunglasses to help with the bright lights and headphones with your choice of music while they work to tune out the sounds of the drill. I've never been anywhere better than here. My experience at Larry R. Franks, D.D.S. Inc. has always been a pleasant one. I look forward to my Dental Visit because I know it will be a relaxing one. I have never experience a dental visit quite like this one. From the moment you walk through door, you are welcomed by the relaxing music playing through out the office as well as greeted by the helpful and friendly staff. It truly is a Unique Spa Experience, from my hands wax/massaged, my own personal choice of music plays through headphones, and a blanket covering me, all while getting my cleaning done.
