I had been looking everywhere for a replacement floor grate for a cold air return in our foyer. Originally had a simple 36 × 24 wooden grate with 1 1/2" squares. A friend suggested A&R so I went the next day and was amazed at the items available there. I did find just the right size and perfect design. I am glad I went because any other type of repair/ replace project I come up with they are high on my list of resources that are local and unlike the internet you can see the actual item to decide. 5 stars to A&R SALVAGE & RECYCLING

Awesome place! We were looking for architectural wood to make shelving and hit the jackpot here! Great treasures from a time gone by! A review that I read from someone said go to home depot and get wood 130% cheaper, obviously you can but clearly the name 'Architectural Salvage' defines their products.

I was fascinated by this establishment on my first visit years and years ago. Since then I make at least two trips a year to see what amazing goodies lie in store. The staff is always extremely nice and helpful. I have purchased everything from whole doors to screws. There is literally anything you could think of. This place is a wonderful Omaha establishment that helps to preserve and collect the history of our town. Even if only looking for fun, you will not regret spending a couple hours walking around this salvage yard!
