With a 1200 person capacity for lodging, food service, education, and recreation, the facilities of Mt. Lebanon provide an ideal setting for teaching, worship, fellowship and spiritual growth for many types of groups. The Christian camping experience leaves life-changing, spiritual marks on the hearts of individuals - and can set them on a life-long course for productive Christian living.

As a Children's Minister, I have been taking children to Mt. Lebanon for many years. It has been my joy to see many hearts of children be given to Christ and many lives changed through the ministry of camp. In my own.
Services
Lebanon Encampment is a year-round facility which exists primarily for the purpose of providing an environment for Christian worship, training, discipleship, evangelism and recreation. Summertime is the heavy season for the camp when weeks are filled to capacity with summer programs for children and youth from area churches.
Facility rentals are for Christian churches and ministries, schools, and approved non-profit organizations only. Lebanon can accommodate indoor groups from 2 to 1200 (all with heating and air-conditioning). Total Capacity: 1200 persons. 1000 conference chairs on the lower floor. Bleacher seating also available.
Each summer Mt. Lebanon hosts thousands of young people who come to spend, what for many is, one of the most life-changing weeks of their lives! Sponsored by the Dallas Baptist Association, summer camp at Mt. Lebanon is a time when youth and children's ministers and leaders from many area churches bring their groups to camp for a week of inspirational programs, Bible study, recreation, and Christian fellowship.
Both of our pools offer a great escape from the summer heat including a 100-foot slide called The Plunge. Camp GAP has been an amazing experience for our group. I love how my students are challenged in their faith, and God's creation is front-and-center in the setting. Our kids love all of the activities, and the worship.
Think outside the box. It's not just challenging, it's fun. In a world where everything is about perspective, learn to see things from a different point of view. Build bridges, balance structures, think your team over a ten-foot wall. While on the adventure courses you will have to stretch more than your muscles, you will stretch your mind as well.

Wonderful camp, lots to do for kids and lots of acres to play on. Cabins not too terrible, but there are usually a lot of people in each cabin. Bathrooms are the worst, but the water works. Great people run the camp, and the cafeteria food really isn't too bad! Also provide golf carts for church camps... So great

Me and my church went to Mt. Lebanon for a retreat and one of the girls had bed bugs. Other than that the food is good the staff is friendly. The only bad thing was that situation.

I visited Mount Lebanon last year and am going back this year for youth camp. I had an overall great experience during my time there at camp and the staff were great. The only problem was the camp was understaffed to a small extent but all in all the camp was run well, the housing was excellent, and I am excited to go again next week.

Good service and sermons by the preacher, but the staff needs to walk the walk themselves. When I was there I overheard multiple camp staffers cuss like sailors. I was worried about my kids safety on the zipline and ropes course because it seemed like the young staffers were pre-occupied flirting with each other rather than paying attention to the kids. Camp should not be a place you go to hook up.
It is a beauftiful camp, but there needs to be more adult supervision over the young staffers. They should be spreading God's word and love with their actions, instead of doing the opposite.
