If we can't find a quality tenant for your home in 30 days or less, you pay no re-lease fee! We only place highly qualified tenants, which is why every application we receive undergoes careful screening, with background and financial checks designed to keep you protected. We complete monthly drive by inspections and semi annual tenant and preventative maintenance inspections on all of our properties.
Set aside enough time to clean and return the property - It generally takes about 5 hours to clean a unit. If property can't be re-rented for the same rate, the difference in the rate is owed for the remaining term. If you are looking to move-out sooner, also known as breaking your lease, it's important to know the costs associated with terminating your lease agreement early.
All members of the household over 18 must apply. You may apply at any time. We do not pre-screen applicants. A background check will be pulled immediately and you will be charged a non-refundable screening fee upon applying. We process on a first come, first serve basis. Delays outside of Steelhead's control and beyond 3 days may may result in a denial (if employer or landlord do not respond) and does not warrant a refund of the application fee.

With a student preparing to attend medical school at Western University, our search for an apartment for our daughter that would provide the home amenities needed as well as proximity to the university were of equal importance. That's where Caleb entered the picture. Being nearly 1,300 miles away from Lebanon, he was able to make us feel like we were a stone's throw away by helping us select an apartment and keeping us informed throughout the process. Without a doubt, had Caleb not been there to guide, assist, and keep us informed, we would have potentially had to make more than a couple of trips

I was a first time landlord who reached out to Marc to get assistance with property management. After asking all the questions and doing all my research he was clearly the best value in town and very patient and understanding in meeting my concerns. I am moving to Salem shortly and reached out to these guys about one if the available units. They were prompt and efficient about getting back to me. I have not yet arrived at the location, but I am excited to begin living there as it looks beautiful and well-kept. The site they use to manage the place/take payments/requests is also very intuitive!

As a Tenant, I can only say good things. They are attentive to issues that arise and give My Fiancee and myself plenty of time to handle scheduled maintenance. Never had any issues concerning Rent payments or issues with Leasing information if i had a question. I would recommend anyone to work with them if they are looking for a home to live.

After owning my own home for many years i had to rent again. Fortunately, i found Steelhead Property Management. Marc has been a fantastic landlord. He helped get the property ready for me and my children in a very short amount of time, replaced and cleaned and updated all that needed attention and always was prompt to assist us with any needs at the property. This is by far one of the best rental experiences i have ever had and i would recommend them to anyone looking for a new place to live.
