I was in SLO for the weekend with my family. Stopped in to repair my prescription sunglasses, losing a screw. The gal at the front desk was very nice immediately taking my glasses to replace the missing screw. While fixing my glasses she noticed that I was missing one of my "socks" on the glasses. After replacing the screw, she checked to see if she had a match to replace the sock. She was unable to find a match but a gentleman came from the back to help and found a pair that fit. He installed the new pair and adjusted the glasses to fit properly. They did all of this free of charge

I have had to take three pairs of glasses to Michael’s Optical for repairs this year. They have been wonderful each time. Elaine helped my with my glasses today that I bent pretty badly. They fit perfectly now that she fixed them.
Michael and Kathy are wonderful people and great members of the community.

Michael’s optical in Paso is awesome!!- Dr Hopper with the vision test was so nice and helpful. Also Kim with her positive energy and being so helpful and patient while I found just the right frames. John and Elaine are also very nice and helpful too. Great experience all around!!

I got my glasses at Michaels bout 6 months ago with very lightweight lenses and frames. Unlike the big box stores, Michael's was one of the only places that could work with my current frames and provide the light weight lenses I wanted.

Recently, I bent the frame, took them into the store, and I was fixed up in about 5 minutes at no cost. They had the tools and expertise to make the Silhouette frames like new. The service is 5 star.

Ask for Elaine if you want great service - she'll help you pick glasses that look best on you. I love my new sunglasses. Thanks again Elaine.

Nice and awesome staff here at Michael's Optical. I stopped by Michael's Optical since one of my nose pad on my glass was missing. Chelsea installed a new set of pads on my glasses for free of charge! Will definitely come back for my next exam and glasses!! Thank you Chelsea!

What an excellent staff.

I am blind without my glasses. I would not be able to recognize a face two feet away without them. With that said, I'm also a college student that cannot afford $400+ (after insurance) for quality brands that I've come to love like my Ray-Bans that I've had for four years and sadly shattered a few weeks ago.

I ordered a pair of Warby Parker's last week and although affordable, squeezed my head to high heavens. I called Urban Optics and a variety of other shops hoping to get my frames adjusted and they all wanted a $15+ service charge through a scripted

Very freindly staff with a wide selection of glasses to choose from. If you have problems with them they will help with adjustments.

Traveling my sunglasses needed to be repaired and they were more then helpful.

While on vacation my glasses broke into pieces. I walked into Michael's in hopes they could put them back together. Unfortunately that was not the case. But thanks to Joyce and Chelsea I walked out able to see! They went to work to find an old frame that would hold my lenses long enough for me to get home and get new glasses and they did just that! When I asked what I owed them they said nothing! They even refused an offer of a treat from Starbucks! What sweet lifesavers! I would very highly recommend Michaels to everyone!

I've been coming here for years and everyone is so nice! Pat is my favorite - she helps me pick out the frame and takes pictures so I can compare them. It's a fun environment, almost like a family.

Don't waste your money. I bought set of glasses on a special they were having for $100 (lenses and frames). The frames were crap and I went through two sets within a year. Each time they charged me $35 to replace them. When I went in to buy yet another set of frames, the price was $80. When I questioned them on the ridiculous mark-up, they said that I only received the $35 price because I bought the other frames within a year of my original purchase. They also kindly informed me that these were "budget" frames. I was so dumbfounded by what they said that I just walked out. These people are crooks

Ordered a very nice pair of glasses there. At the moment they told me I'd receive my glasses within a week. Nope! Not only I did not get my glasses that week nor did they inform me about the delay. I called 2 weeks after, a staff told me they should arrive in 2 days. Nope! And they didn't call me again about the false information they gave me. Finally the glasses arrived 3 weeks later. They apologized and told me there was a miscommunication in the whole process. They were being nice about it and gave me some little gifts.
I mean I like the glasses. But I definitely had better service

I took my bent designer brand sunglasses in to see if they could help. Michaels did a fantastic job and they are like new! Here's the best part...they did it free of charge despite the fact that I bought them elsewhere. I highly recommend Michael's for their excellent customer service.

I popped into Michael's Optical looking for my first pair of glasses. I wasn't looking for a fancy designer pair, just something cheap that I won't have to worry about. I wasn't expecting to buy there, but they informed me that they have a promo for a few of their cheaper lines of frames. My glasses ended up being cheaper than they would have been at Costco and I have returned several times since to tweak the fit. They are happy to see me every time and eager to help.
