The current conventional medical model is one based on "disease-management". We're here to change that. Symptoms and disease are our body's way of telling us there is an imbalance - which is often nutritional, musculoskeletal or even emotional. Our approach to wellness involves determining what imbalances are affecting health, and aiming treatment towards reversing these obstacles.
As naturopathic physicians, our goal is to remove the obstacles preventing your body from functioning normally, not just "manage" your symptoms through medication. We take a functional approach to assess your health holistically through assessments of biology and chemistry and optimizing these essentials to health.
Rheumatoid arthritis was described as being precipitated by a Proteus infection of the urinary tract. Ankylosing spondylitis was described as being caused by an infection of the bacteria Klebsiella in the colon. It was particularly striking to see the experimental and research data used to make the case for the development of autoimmune disease stemming from these infectious agents.
Complementary medicine includes a large number of practices and systems of health care that, for a variety of cultural, social, economic, or scientific reasons, have not been adopted by mainstream Western medicine. Complementary medicine is used together with conventional medicine, whereas alternative medicine is used in place of conventional medicine.
A holistic pediatrician uses preventative and functional medicine to provide whole-person care. Holistic pediatric care focuses on finding the root cause of health problems instead of just managing symptoms. A good holistic pediatrician will take time to get to know you and your child to understand all aspects and factors that may influence your child's physical and mental health.

Wonderful clinic full of amazing Naturopaths! I have been seeing Dr. True, Dr. Souza, and Dr. Toth for the last six months. All of three doctors mentioned have been incredibly patient, kind, and helpful in helping me deal with my myriad of stubborn, complex health issues. Dr true is literally the best doctor I’ve ever had. She’s not only knowledgeable in her field but cares for her patients. Katherine Souza is extremely thorough, friendly, and cares about her patients. I had a wonderful experience as a first time patient at her clinic, and will continue to come back. She includes multiple aspects when she treats.. She is a trained ND, acupuncturist and massage therapist so she it seems she is interested in treating the body from all aspects.

Dr. True is knowledgeable, passionate about helping others and she has helped me heal years of issues in just a week. She is thorough and asks the right questions. I love this office! All of the practitioners are warm and friendly. I have personally seen Dr. Souza and she is kind, patient, insightful, resourceful, diligent, personable, etc, etc, etc! She has been so helpful in mapping all of my medical past in such a way that she is able to address multiple issues at once. She is wonderful at actually listening to my experience and incorporating me into my treatment.
