Services
Dr. Britt grew up in the St. Louis metropolitan area, but spent many summers in Boulder area with his mother. Dr. Britt went on to graduate from the University of Missouri-Columbia and then continued his studies at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he graduated in 2008.
The first visit to our office is designed to get you better acquainted with all that we offer as well as introduce you to Dr. Britt and our caring staff. A comprehensive dental exam will be performed by your dentist at your initial dental visit. Examination of diagnostic x-rays (radiographs): Essential for detection of decay, tumors, cysts, and bone loss. X-rays also help determine tooth and root positions. Oral cancer screening: Check the face, neck, lips, tongue, throat, tissues, and gums for any signs of oral cancer.
Fluoride is the most effective agent available to help prevent tooth decay. It is a mineral that is naturally present in varying amounts in almost all foods and water supplies. The benefits of fluoride have been well known for over 50 years and are supported by many health and professional organizations.
A composite (tooth colored) filling is used to repair a tooth that is affected by decay, cracks, fractures, etc. The decayed or affected portion of the tooth will be removed and then filled with a composite filling. There are many types of filling materials available, each with their own advantages and disadvantages.

The dental work, and customer service are wonderful! I can't express how nice it is to walk into Dr. Britt's office. Everyone is kind, helpful, & professional. From the front desk to the hygienists to Dr. Britt. I've had more than just cleanings, and it's always been a pleasant experience. Plus, the new technology he brings into the office. I also love the screens above the chairs, it's nice to have something to look at it :)

I found Dr Britt after moving out to Colorado and needing a new spot. I've had only good experiences here and feel like I am in great hands. From the receptionists, to my hygenist Liz, to Dr. Britt himself, the treatment is great! I've even called once about some severe pain and they were able to have me come in the same day right away. Highly recommend!

Excellent dentist and staff. Always professional and caring at the same time. Modern, well-equipped office in a convenient location. Dr. Britt always takes time to thoroughly explain procedures and respond to any questions. Staff is attentive and pleasant to deal with. One of the better dental offices in Boulder.

I recently moved to Boulder and Dr. David Britt was referred to me by my sister who saw Dr. Britt was named as one of the top dentists in the 5280 Magazine. I definitely concur with this award! Dr. Britt and the entire staff are wonderful, knowledgeable, professional, caring and helpful. The “welcome sign” in my dental station on my first appointment with Penny (dental hygienist) was a special touch. I'm very excited and grateful to be Dr. Britt's newest patient!! I was unhappy with my current dentist so I asked some friends who they see and several of them (who don't know each other) were seeing Dr. Britt and raved about how much they like him and his staff. My excitement started with his front office staff. David and Erin did a superb job on my cracked molar and some other cavities, on short notice. David was able to craft "on-lays" which are like crowns but require less tooth reduction. He has a cool machine that made a 3D model of my teeth and then manufactured the on-lays, so no need for temporary fillings while waiting for crowns to be crafted. This reduces office visits and expense and is really great.
David is clearly passionate about dentistry and gave me complete explanations of what's going on with my teeth, what I can expect, and what my options are.

Last year my old dentist of 20 years retired and sold his practice to David Britt so I was grandfathered into his practice so to speak. I was a little hesitant in the beginning, just because I had not built a relationship with him. I've now had the opportunity to visit his office 3 times and I must say I'm impressed with David's professionalism, caring and knowledge. His staff is very friendly and down to earth. Dr. Britt is someone truly passionate about his profession - he takes more continuing education than any dentist I know, and it shows in the quality of his work. He's a master at minimally invasive dentistry and esthetic composites, which are the most difficult areas of our field. I trust his work so much that he's the dentist I use and we don't even live in the same state. I can't recommend him more highly!
