The Desert Belle is a locally owned tour boat offering graceful sightseeing cruises on spectacular Saguaro Lake. Originally launched in 1964, the Desert Belle has been cruising the waters of Saguaro Lake for over fifty years. This is the perfect spot for local residents and out-of-town guests of all ages.
Charters are generally available between the hours of 8am-9pm 7 days a week and must not conflict with our public cruise schedule. Exceptions may be made during the summer season. Take exit 199 to the Bush Highway and head east approximately 4 miles. The entrance to the Marina will be on your left between markers 32 and 33. Go down the hill and take the first right. Take Bush Highway, (Power Road becomes Bush Hwy when you follow it going North). You will be on Bush Hwy for approximately 13 miles.
To guarantee a seat on board, you must purchase tickets in advance. To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please book well in advance. Tickets are non-refundable. In the event you are not able to make the tour, you may contact us no less than 48 hours before your cruise time to reschedule your tour to a later date.

The narration cruise was awesome! Had family in from Colorado, and this was perfect adventure for the day after Thanksgiving! The crew, Billy, Madison and Captain John wee awesome! The Captain provided quite a bit of knowledge with a funny twist and comments at times! Had the whole boat laughing! Definitely something I would recommend! Next time my wife and I are going to do the booze cruise!

Our friends booked us a tour on the Desert Belle and none of us quite knew what to expect. Flat boat, flat lake, flat desert! Well, the boat is flat but looks somewhat like a Mississippi paddle wheel without the wheel. Of course the lake is flat. However, the topography is stunning!! Hilly, with high peaks filled with cactus and some sightings of Eagles, in a tiny outcropping of a ledge and mountain goats climbing what appears to be straight up the wall of the peaks. Our captain was a fountain of history, knowledge and wit. You must try this cruise out, then afterwards have a meal at the restaurant

30 of my family members purchased tickets for the music cruise to celebrate my birthday. After we started cruising the captain told us there would be no music because someone got sick. They could've given us an option because it was the worst with no music! BORING BORING BORING! Imagine thinking we're going to hear music and all we hear is a horribly narrated cruise. The average age on the boat was 75. So perhaps that's why no music. Idk but We didn't purchase tickets to listen to someone talk! It was terrible! We hated every minute of it. We tried to listen to music on

Was told about this cruise by a random person while on vacation. Decided to jump on a cruise on a random Wednesday and it was fun! Captain John, Andi, and Gina did a great job!! Definitely a fun tour! Got rained on but it was covered so just misted but SOOOO worth it. It was something that was an unexpected fun journey!

Every visitor to the area should take a Desert Belle ride, with music and/or with narration. Both are wonderful displays of Arizona at its best. The narrative cruise provides valuable insight into the history and economics of the area without sounding like a classroom history course. I have been on this cruise several times and it never gets old. The music cruise is beautiful and is less didactic. The heat of the summer sun is intense and so bring sunscreen. The wind was enough to keep the flies at bay, so we did not worry about that. I always take visitors to Saguaro Lake if for no other reason
