Pack an organized carry-on bag using layers - a layer of clothes, then electronics, more clothes, and then any heavier items. This will help transportation security officers see what's in your bag. Innocent items can actually appear to be potential threats in an X-ray image, simply by the way they are packed.

I used these folks for a recent trip to Spain and Morocco, and walked away less than impressed.
To our travel agent's credit, she was generally pretty genial and friendly. Our hotels were all booked properly, so my wife and I never really had any issues checking in to any of our lodgings as we traveled across southern Spain. This is about where the good things end.
Our travel agent came across as someone accustomed to doing business in a different era, largely in that she was much easier to deal with in person than she was electronically. Emails would often go unanswered for longer-than-acceptable
