I am a dedicated counselor who strives to help individuals meet their personal goals. Many people experience problems throughout their lives where they feel stuck and helpless. Such problems may surround a person's personal, social, educational, professional, and/or financial well being. Utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, EMDR, and solution focus therapy, people can discuss issues openly in a safe confidential environment.
I believe that counseling can help people achieve their goals and regain the happiness within their lives. I provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling services. I work with people of all ages including children, adolescents, and adults. I offer morning and afternoon appointments. A sliding scale is available.

What is the Goal of the EMDR Method? The EMDR clinical goal is to achieve the most profound and comprehensive treatment effects within the shortest time possible while maintaining a stable client within a stable system. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a complex, eight-phase methodology and approach to the treatment of trauma that integrates the salient aspects of most therapeutic modalities.
The most important need is love and belonging because this allows us to meet the rest of our needs. All behavior is Total Behavior and is made up of four components: acting, thinking, feeling and physiology. All Total Behavior is chosen, but we only have direct control over the acting and thinking components.
Biofeedback is a technique you can use to learn to control your body's functions, such as your heart rate. With biofeedback, you're connected to electrical sensors that help you receive information (feedback) about your body (bio). This feedback helps you focus on making subtle changes in your body, such as relaxing certain muscles, to achieve the results you want, such as reducing pain.
