One of the best mechanics I have had. From changing my oil to water pump, Air conditioning, tire rotation, and tail pipe repair Josh is amazing and intelligent. For one, he repaired my radiator when two mechanics told me that it was irreparable, he fixed for a 100$. He explains exactly what he did and what the problem was. He also saves damaged parts so when you go to pick up your vehicle he shows you what was the problem. Josh is knowledgeable, prices are fair and most importantly he is honest! I had taken my car in to another shop and they didn't know what was wrong for sure but tried to get me to do a $3500 repair. Took my car to Josh and for less than $300 my car seems to be all better! I won't take my car to anyone else from now on!

I cannot recommend this place enough. Not only is Josh Bevan a wizard with engines and vehicles, he is kind, considerate, and very generous with his time and advice. We have always received fantastic service - usually faster than expected - and always accompanied by a thorough and knowledgeable explanation of any issues.
He's done work on both of our vehicles (and even a generator we had an issue with!) and it has always been top notch.

Always a panic with something goes wrong with our cars, right?? My service engine light went on, and immediately, my car made a not normal noise. I got home safely, and called Josh Bevan at his shop. He was highly recommended by people I trust, and they were spot on!
He calmly listened, and he got me in right away. My car is a 2002 Nissan Maxima, with 238,000 miles. I'm planning on replacing it, but was hoping to buy some time. After Josh's thorough inspection and explaining options, I felt very informed to make decisions. The work he did was excellent and the price extremely competitive

I don't usually write reviews, but this one is absolutely necessary. I've had very bad car problems, bad mechanic luck and A LOT of money gone. On Friday my 2010 car (not THAT old) broke down for the 3rd time in 5 months! First repair was $3400 for all new brakes, full service and all new tires, second I took it in because the transmission was "rough" coming out of first... wahla! Needs a transmission rebuild!! Another $3800! Not 6 days after being without it for 3 weeks, full service, rebuild and given the run around ...I'm on the side of the freeway, again! The last 2

Bevan Auto Repair is a quality shop dedicated to customer satisfaction. They clearly explain the issues my truck needs fixed and then deliver the repairs without issue. What I like most is that Bevan will let you know what is important to repair and what can wait. The quality of work is equal to or better than other Mechanics I have hired. I really like Bevan Auto Repair service because I feel they provide a value other shops don't and that I'm their most important client.

I've always taken my Lexus ES 350 to the dealer for service, but when it came time for the very expensive 120K service, I decided to try an independent repair shop, as I suspected it needed additional work as well. Read the Yelp reviews and settled on Bevan Auto Repair, and I'm so glad that I did. Josh is extremely experienced, knowledgeable, honest, and dedicated to excellent customer service. He did a great job on my car at a fraction of the price the dealer was going to charge. Extremely impressed!

Took our little Hyundai car for a timing belt change, which at the dealer, costs a fortune! Not only did Josh give us a great price, but he also took care of some other minor things that we needed and kept our overall cost down. He was very detailed about exactly what he would do for us and what the cost would be.. no costly surprises! He even came and got my husband so he could pick up the car during business hours when I was unavailable running our own store. Excellent service, lots of knowledge, extremely efficient and reliable. I took my car here as I needed an oil change and tune-up. While there I mentioned that my car occasionally had problems idling low. Josh was amazing! He explained the suspected issue in terms I could understand, and suggested the least expensive work first to see if that resolved the issue. Turns out it did - the part only needed to be cleaned, not replaced. This saved me several hundred dollars!

My husband and I were so excited when Josh opened his own place (he had been our favorite mechanic at a previous shop). We have now taken both our cars to Bevan Auto Repair. Josh is very thorough both in the work he does on the car and in the time he takes to explain his estimate and recommendations. His prices are extremely competitive - much lower than other places I've been. We are going to be regulars!
