I had to leave this practice mid treatment. A good doctor never tries to up-sell his patients into unnecessary surgery or use scare tactics to make them feel their issue is more serious than it is. Surgery is also not the first intervention for many musculoskeletal issues. Thankfully for me, I never just take one doctor's opinion. I saw Dr Dhruv Patedar and the JHU doctors for orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery and all insisted they would absolutely refuse to perform surgery for my diagnosis.

I wasted a month with this doctor and his crappy PT team performing the wrong exercises for my condition

Be informed: Drs. Chandra and Davis "do not treat ankles, only knees". I was handed copies of the MRI and x-ray reports I had emailed the office and told see a specialist. Odd thing was, someone had recommended Dr. Chandra to us because she was happy with her ankle surgery. This is an orthopedist office - this is the specialist.

Synopsis:

I called twice to schedule and confirm my appointment time, provided my info, and received information on how to send over any records. The receptionist was kind and reminded me to bring in a copy of my MRI. This was a good sign, because I like doctors

Dr. Chondra did a fine job fixing my torn labrum and after months of rehab with Adam and Mike my shoulder started to get back to normal. The problem I am still having with Dr. Chondra and the Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine is the billing. Before I had my surgery done I made sure to find out exactly what I was required to pay out of pocket. Days before the surgery I was called by his office and they let me know what my surgery was going to consist of and how much I was required to pay. On October 15, 2015 I went to the surgery center and I again was told what my surgery was going to

I tore my rotator cuff and have been living in pain for months. Dr. Chandra had already decided that I was faking it and wanted drugs before I ever walked in. He made me do several very painful arm movements, then made me do them again "just to be sure". He then told me that I would need to get an MRI before he would believe me, and that I should give up and not waste my money.

When I asked about things I could do to help myself, like stretches or if I should put heat or cold on it, he ignored me.

I understand that a lot of people are just addicts trying to get high, but I needed
