A. Carl Kinsey with the help of his wife, Ida, established the Kinsey Funeral Home in 1938. The first funeral home was located in a storefront on Main Street Evans City. In 1939 they purchased the Clayton house at 328 West Main Street, where it is still located. Carl welcomed his nephew, Ronald N. Volz, as a partner in 1973.

Preplanning your funeral is the most caring, considerate thing you can do for your family. First, it protects them from having to make complex decisions at a difficult time.
The A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, Inc. provides personalized funeral arrangements and memorial services to persons of all denominations and faiths. We encourage families to customize their preparations and we'll do all we can to fulfill their wishes. Our visitation rooms are designed to accommodate both large and small families.
Cremation offers families loving commemorative service options if that is preferred. Visitations can be held, as well as a funeral service. Some families prefer to scatter the cremated remains in a special location or preserve the urn in a columbarium niche for a permanent tribute. If you decide to retain the cremated remains, A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home offers beautiful urns and other attractive containers.
