As a teacher myself, it is my opinion that Alex is a true teacher. He is passionate about teaching and the art of teaching He cares deeply that his students learn, grow, and develop.
I have learned so much from our private lessons and 4 sessions of Rock Band. I cannot imagine learning more with other teacher. I cannot speak highly enough of Alex. Alex Rubin, born in Queens in 1983, grew up in Long Beach, NY. At the age of 7, he was given a nylon string guitar, and a method book by his guitarist father. He took to practicing often, and when he entered middle school, he joined the school's stage band, where he doubled on guitar and trombone. Throughout middle school and high school, Alex took every musical opportunity that both of the schools could offer.

After trying to learn how to play guitar from Youtube videos for the past few years, I finally decided to take lessons at Long Beach Guitar School and my only regret is that I did not start sooner.
I've now been working with Julian for only about 4 months and my guitar playing ability has improved more then I ever could have imagined.
Julian, Alex, and the entire staff has been great and welcoming, and I cannot recommend enough.
