Almost all junk hauling companies see each job as a significant source of income and try to get as much money as they can out of each job.
Appliance removal is not a fun task. If you have a truck, it's not so bad but if you have a car or SUV, We wouldn't recommend it. Many appliances including dishwashers and washers have gross fluids in them and can spill everywhere. Also, with our prices so low on appliance removal, it's just not worth your time.
Old decks can be ugly but they can also be a safety hazard. If you are thinking about removing the deck yourself consider the dumping fees, the tools you may have to buy, the capacity of your truck or trailer and the value of your time. The goal of this section is to be able to give yourself a pretty good idea of how much it would cost to have your deck debris removed.
Old fences can be an eyesore but they can also serve many important functions. Taking down an old fence isn't really that hard but then you have to find a way to get rid of it. The fence removal is the hard part. Even if you have a pickup, you can easily spend a whole day, maybe even two driving back and forth to the dump.
Old sheds can be an eyesore but more importantly, when the structural integrity of the shed is compromised, they can cause injury and should be removed. We do a lot of shed removals in Portland. Some sheds have inside panels and outside panels on their walls. Usually insulation is found in between the panels and it is much more difficult to remove.

After moving out of state, we still had some awkward furniture left in our old place. Ryan was extremely easy to communicate with, picked the stuff up next day, and texted picture confirmation - all at a price that was more affordable than pretty much every other place I called. We hired Ernie's Wagon to demolish two old structures (a greenhouse and shed that were losses) from our backyard. After texting Ryan photos of them, he came out to take a look, and gave us an excellent estimate. Both structures were hauled away after only a couple of days.
Ryan was prompt, fast, and above all, a nice guy. Highly recommended and we'll be working with him again!

I've been putting off on getting my old couch hauled away (mainly due to cost) and then I finally discovered Ernie's Wagon. I've called a lot of different companies and this is the only place that quoted me under $100 to remove my couch. On the day of pick up, the owner Ryan, made everything quick and easy. Schedule a pickup of my old mattress and box spring and Ernie's Wagon was by far the cheapest estimate I received. Ryan immediately answered his phone and I was able to schedule a pickup for the same day. Ryan accepted many forms of payment (Venmo, cash, check) which was very convenient. I couldn't agree more with the other reviewers. From the communication on setting a time up that worked for me, to that he was running about 10 minutes late(which was no biggie), to the helping get the couch out of the house to also just his over all demeanor. Great guy, friendly, punctual and great rates. No shaddy quotes or quotes after they show up. Sight in seen and fare in my opinion.

I've used Ryan about four times now for my regular junk haul, and he's incredible. He's super fast, offers same day service, affordable, and flexible. The best part is how reliable he is. I had the pleasure of also meeting his wife once and she's just as friendly and helpful. I'm super busy and he's the easiest to schedule with as well. I won't use anyone else.
