Gulftex Retrofit Installation Pros LLC is a mobile home foundation contractor serving all of Texas. All inspection and construction work is done by in-house inspectors and retrofit crews. Our inspection compliance certification letters are issued by a consultant who has worked with us for many years and is very timely in all aspects of inspections including drawings and reports.
Our inspectors and retrofit crews provide the inspections and foundations for retrofit tie-downs to the FHA/VA/HUD and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDCHA) newest standards. For the required mobile home tie-downs, we install 3-foot-deep reinforced concrete piers with galvanized steel aircraft cable.
There is a simple reason that GulfTex Retrofit has grown to be the largest mobile home inspection / retrofit provider in Texas. Our mobile home foundation retrofit costs are extremely low. We are able to provide quality repairs for less, and pass that savings along to our customers.
We average 40 to 60 mobile home foundation retrofits per month, so our fixed costs are spread over a larger client base - our next largest competitors in Texas average 5 to 10 foundation retrofits per month.We average 100 to 120 mobile home foundation inspections per month, versus the 15 to 20 of our next largest competitors, so our fixed inspections costs are also spread out over a larger client base.

Inspections of manufactured home foundations are a critical part of the service we offer all over the state Texas. GulfTex employs four full-time mobile home inspectors and one contract inspector, each of whom averages 30 to 50 inspections per week. John Teague is the founding partner of the original GulfTex from 1976.

Do not hesitate to hire this amazing company! Ms. Kelli and Ms. Sharon are wonderful - we were spinning our wheels and GulfTex saved the day. I was referred to Gulftex by my realtor when I sold my home. Sharon(in office) as very informative as to when they would be there and exactly what was need to pass inspection. The 2 guys that came to replace tie downs as well as fix other items needed to pass inspection where punctual on timing, as well as very professional/informative about their work. I was on a time crunch, they all came thru in able timing. Since then I purchased another home that needed leveling. The remodeling contractor I have was gonna use his contact company, But because I had already used Gulftex they are the ones I contacted
