Services
Brooke has explored the Pilates repertoire through multiple comprehensive training programs and continuing education courses, all while adding her own cues, modifications and nuance to her teaching. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge, and after seeing people respond positively to her work, she is driven to share it beyond the walls of Reforming Foundations.
For those of you with Pilates experience and new to joining our studio - welcome! If you are new to Pilates, you'll begin your journey with individual sessions where you'll learn how to do Pilates and how to safely use the equipment, setting up your Pilates journey for long-term success. We'll see you soon!
We believe that small details create a large impact. Our method includes classical Pilates exercises that were developed by Joseph Pilates who observed, "A few, well-designed movements properly performed in a balanced sequence are worth hours of doing sloppy calisthenics or forced contortions." At RF, we have redefined Pilates for the 21st century and provide a modern scientific approach to your Plates practice.
We specialize in One-On-One and Semi-Private Sessions to provide you with individual care and the undivided attention you deserve. Our individual training will teach you the proper techniques and how to properly move your body, giving you a strong, solid foundation on your wellness journey. We believe Pilates helps you do all the things you love to do!
Our group equipment classes utilize all of the Pilates equipment and focus on the quality of movement. Within each class, you'll refine your Pilates practice and provide your body the challenge it craves. Because our primary focus is giving our clients a safe workout focused on alignment and movement techniques, each class has a max capacity of 6 people.

I found reforming foundations Pilates in February! It has been the answer I have been looking for! I have had one on one classes with Angela - Who showed me where my core was ! LOL pod classes with Stacy… Kicks my butt every time! And recently had a mat class with Michelle- I have found each instructor to be professional and friendly! The owner, Brooke, made a point to introduce herself to me… And Miranda, has called me to personally go over my schedule, or make suggestions on which programs would benefit me! So happy to say, with clean eating on my part… And their excellent instruction I

I’m a 46 year old avid cyclist with a history of lower back and pelvic issues. A history of adolescent power strength training coupled with a major fall in my mid-twenties led to years of 2,400 mg of ibuprofen a day, too many steroid injections to count, and at least half a dozen stints of physical therapy. None of that provided any lasting help or relief. I was introduced to Brooke and her Reforming Foundations practice about 2 years ago. Classes and 1:1 sessions had me feeling stronger than ever.

I started doing private sessions at Reforming Foundations in 2019 when I realized it was cheaper than physical therapy I'd previously tried for hip dysplasia. That quickly turned into me falling in love with pilates and all of the staff. This year my health took a turn for the worse after multiple months of exposure to toxic black mold in my old office. This stirred up more joint issues and I returned for physical therapy since two PTs are now on staff at Reforming Foundations. I also was able to take advantage of the sauna in the studio (which my doctor said was the best way to get rid of mold

Everyone here is skilled, highly trained, friendly, upbeat, and a joy to be around. I feel safe as they keep the facility very clean and do covid screenings and temp checks each visit. I’ve been going to treat an array of issues and since day one my back stiffness and pain have drastically reduced. I still have a ways to go but I’m confident that these are the people who will get me where I want to be. I even refer my own patients here to address strength and mobility deficits.

I LOVE Reforming Foundations! I have been a Pilates loyalist for many years and the professional yet friendly atmosphere, attention to detail and focus on health and wellness at RF is second to none! Of particular note is the quick transition to virtual classes at the start of COVID Stay At Home orders - I was not a mat Pilates convert until now having spent now more than 2 months in virtual Reforming Foundations classes, they are innovative and varied, always with a focus on keeping us strong, pain free and healthy. On a personal note, I purchased a pair of jeans at the start of Stay At Home orders

I discovered Reforming Foundations in search of a Physical Therapist. I was dream to the studio's offering of both PT and Pilates.
My experience working with Dr. Cecily has been nothing short of wonderful. I've learned so much (in a short time!) about proper body mechanics, in addition to core strengthening and posture improvement exercises. I'd been living (painfully) with a weak pelvic floor, and carrying stress in my lower back for such a long time. I am overwhelmed by how much better I feel as a result of Dr. Cecily's expertise and care. I am so grateful to her!

This is a wonderful studio! The instructors are very knowledgeable and very friendly. They are great at helping you along if you're struggling to figure out a move and especially great at making sure you have the move down correctly. Brooke the owner is super friendly and wants you to succeed! I started classes here when I was newly pregnant and thought I would have to quit as my pregnancy progressed because a prenatal class was not on the docket. Because Brooke really does care about her clients, she found a way to work with me so that I can continue on with Pilates through my pregnancy. I'm really
