This is a great place for a spa date! I came with my best friend and we absolutely loved it. The place is clean, the women there are so sweet, friendly and professional and they did such a great job with our nails and massage. We got a 30 minute massage, which felt so great. Our nails came out wonderful. We had great conversations with the ladies there. I will definitely be back there for a nail touch up

Spent a couple of hours here getting pampered with my best friend for her birthday. The service was very prompt and we were well taken care of. We both had mani/pedis and massages. The ladies were friendly and made us feel at ease. They also acknowledged our friendship and the occasion so they made sure we were serviced together as much as possible rather than separating us for convenience. It's a cute little boutique salon, clean establishment and it never felt cramped. The pedicures, manicures, and massage exceeded my expectations. I've been seeing Bella for facials for ummmm 12 or 14 years -- she's incredibly thorough and actually pays attention to what my skin needs -- and she's effing hilarious -- she tells me when I look terrible, and a few years ago when we were talking abt what we were reading, she mentioned she was into a biography on Joseph Stalin, noting "what a mother effer". You just cannot get better than that -- clean skin and a lil Russian history.

Had a lovely pedicure with Susan this afternoon on just 15 minutes notice. The place is located in a cute little shopping district of Winnetka...bookshops, toy shops, boutique pet stores, free street parking. The shop was clean and smelled nice. There were gourmet cookies and plentiful "guilty pleasure" magazines to choose from. The receptionist was very sweet and actually helped me into my wrap when I left. Susan brought me green tea in a pretty little china cup, and did a meticulous job on my toes. The foot massage was heavenly. Susan did mention that she also does eyebrow waxing

I wish that I had an experience closer to Jess or Yin, but I was sorely disappointed with my Pretty in Pink $31 beauty service and can relate to Nancy X. From an outside glance, I almost missed Bella's. It's clean and a bit of a hole in the wall. At least, parking is free and easy to find.
My esthetician was very polite and friendly. However, I wasn't satisfied with the job that she did. It felt half-completed and I had to schedule another appointment with my regular esthetician just to clean up what she started. So, even though Bella's cost me $31, I still had to pay

My experience with Bella's is a lot closer to Yin's than to Nancy's. I admit I haven't been there for a couple of years - but back when my Mom lived in WInnetka - we both use to be regulars. In fact, in preparation for my wedding I put myself completely in Bella's capable hands.
By Winnetka standards, it really is a (clean) hole-in-the-wall ( a no frills kind of place) and in my experience, I never really felt any pressure to buy anything....
