In 1989 our family opened a free standing crematory facility for those selecting cremation. Your loved one entrusted to our care never leaves our personal supervision, nor are they transported out of New York State. Why is this important? In the United States, the Rules and Regulations of the New York State Division of Cemeteries are considered the Nation's gold standard of crematory regulation and protection.
But you are only offered that protection if the cremation process occurs in New York State. Further with our firm your loved one never leaves our immediate care and supervision. We actually participate, supervise and witness the cremation, while other firms just deliver your loved one to the crematory, and leave prior to the actual cremation.

Services
In 1989, our family recognized and embraced those seeking simple cremation services over the traditional burial options most funeral homes tend to encourage. To address this need our family established a Free-Standing Crematory facility, in Chester, New York. Many cultures and religions have special cremation traditions, and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.
Said Price Lists must be provided by any Funeral Home provider when requested in person for your personal retention.
Survey included a price comparison for a Simple/ Direct Cremation for Rockland County, which includes the local transfer of remains to the funeral home, staff services, securing of necessary authorizations, basic local transportation to the crematory, an alternative container for cremation, and return of the cremains to the funeral home.

If you have just lost a loved one, please accept our condolences and sympathies. Our obituaries page is a resource for you to locate information about current services or browse through our past services. Obituaries act as quiet reminders of the finite nature of our lives. Yet, for those who have recently experienced the death of a family member or friend, an obituary means so much more.
