I took a half day off work to meet Tom (the owner) to show him some masonry work needed for the neighborhood. Afterwards, he promised me he would send an estimate that same week. A week later, I contacted him via phone and email to see when I can expect it, but he never replied. Two weeks after that, I finally got in touch with him on the phone and he said he had been busy but would get it to me that same day. I told him that we need to move forward immediately for many reasons, including safety and a budgeting meeting we put on hold while we wait, and he said OK and reiterated it would be ready
