Andy's Tree Service

Moved into a new home with many large trees, 3 leaning towards house. The trees had not been maintained for at least 10 years and some were indeed potential dangerous, not to mention the mess these trees made every morning!

I called Andy's on a Monday to take a look at the trees and to let me know what was needed now and in the future. I received a call back the same day and Andy scheduled to come by the next day. After discussing what was needed with Andy, we decided to remove 3 very large trees (50') from the landlocked back yard and to heavily prune all the others to lift them

Very happy! Estimate was promptly received by email to trim my mesquite tree; price was fair and accepted estimate; date was set for completion of the job; received email the day before giving me a 2 hour window; crew showed up 15 minutes early; very courteous and professional crew; listened to my questions and concerns; did a great job trimming; cleaned up like they were never here - except for expert trimming! I would highly recommend Andy's Tree Service!!

Andy's crew did a nice job trimming the trees. Did the standard stuff including trim back from street and trim away from roof. The yard was cleaned and away they went.

The business end leaves something to be desired as it took me three calls to even get through until I finally left a message. It seems like the office is just an answering machine. When they called to let me know they were coming the next day, I didn't get much of a chance to respond as their business hours are a bit iffy and of course nobody answers the phone.

Whoa Nelly. Apparently not with Andy's Tree Service!

Regular service was not available so an associate recommended Andy's. I was in a pinch. They were local so I tried to make do with Andy's.

What they call "Fair Prices" seems to be about 20% above already inflated Scottsdale rates for similar services.

I was not shocked when the crew was late. This seems to be the norm in the industry. It would be nice however to get a phone call to let you know they are on their way.

I just called this company today to make an appointment for an estimate. The women who called me back said she was the sister of the Owner Andy. I told her i had my trees trimmed a year ago by a Landscaper and wasn't done very good. She started to berate me telling me Landscaper's don't know what there doing and she went on and on about asking me"am i an Abortist, am i a Landscaper! I thought she was crazy so to not offend her i asked to speak to Andy and she said NO and hung up! I tried calling back and she would not answer. Something is strange with this business! I read

Just wanted to say I have been using Andy's Tree Service the last several years, and every June/July I have my Mesquite trees professionally pruned so not to have to worry about them getting damaged in the Monsoon season. They always look beautiful when they are done and the crew cleans up everything and I have nothing to worry about. I even sent them over to do my parents house while they are out of town and don't have to worry about the job....it gets done professionally.

I had a huge tree that decided to take over the backyard. The roots were lifting the concrete and the trash dropping off of the tree was killing the pool. Based on Yelp, I called Andy's tree service. They told me they would check out the tree (as well as a smaller one I wanted removed) and send me a price. I mentioned I wouldn't be home and marked the trees with ribbon. They showed up the day they stated and I had a quote by lunch. Never even saw them. The quote was VERY reasonable so I contracted to have the trees removed. I was not going to be home that day either and they stated

I am writing this review to compliment Andy's Tree Service for its willingness to be a good neighbor. They were working up the street for our house and running the shredder continuously (which is VERY loud) even though they were only shredding limbs intermittently as they were bought out front from my neighbor's back yard. After an hour or so, I went out and asked Andy whether it was necessary to run the shredder continuously, and he agreed that it was not. He was willing to turn it off while limbs were gathered and then do them all at once.

I'm surprised there are so few reviews. Andy's Tree Service is 1st rate and a pleasure to work with. Andy came out and gave us an estimate and later than day emailed us a formal quote. He was able to accommodate our schedule and his team did a fabulous job on the tree trimming. During the trimming he made it clear if we saw any additional work needing to be done just to mention it to his foreman and he'd see that it got done - and he did. They cleaned up after themselves and left us with nothing but smiles after they left.

Amazing service. Prompt. Efficient. Very reasonably-priced. Best quote by far. Not a twig nor a leaf left behind. Would use no other tree service. We had 20 year old trees that were HUGE........now we have a huge wood pile :)
