Faust Company has a long and rich history installing plumbing in the Greater Milwaukee Area. Family owned and operated since 1898, we are proud to say that we are the oldest union contractor in Milwaukee. William Faust installed plumbing in new houses after-hours, and formally founded the company when The Allis (Chalmers) Company laid him off during hard times.
Since those humble beginnings, the scope of our services has grown to include much larger plumbing projects and a variety of mechanical services including heating, cooling, specialty process piping, and more. While our customer base has grown to include municipalities, industrial plants, schools, and a variety of commercial developers, we happily still provide the same residential services we did a century ago.

Whether you're preparing for a major addition, or just have a project outside of your DIY capabilities, we've got you covered. Faust Company works with home remodeling contractors and directly with owners. We can work off your existing plans, but because plumbing often affects the possible layout options, we prefer to become involved in the planning phase so we can curb potential issues and save the owner costs by improving the design.
Faust Company may have begun primarily as a residential plumbing shop in 1898, but it didn't take long to expand into the commercial realm. We can help you build anything from a small branch office through a corporate headquarters complex. Whether you need design/build services, or have a plan and spec projects ready for bidding, we welcome the opportunity to show you why we've been around for over a century!
There isn't much we haven't seen over the years, from 20's era toilets with leaky thing-a-ma-jigs, to mystery water stains from rooms without plumbing, to that loud thumping noise you hear every time you shut off your kitchen faucet. Anything mechanical eventually needs repair or replacement, and our plumbers have the tools and knowledge to tackle most issues with ease.
Actual plumbing is limited to sewer and potable (drinking) water piping. Anything else is considered process piping, and Faust Company performs many types of this piping. Residential modifications to add or relocate water heaters, clothes dryers, furnaces, or ovens. Compressed air is one of the most common types of process piping.
Bryan reached out to me and explained that apparently he never received the message from yelp. Which is why he never confirmed. Any business that takes. I really appreciated being able to converse electronically with Bryan regarding what services I needed completed and him providing an estimate the same way.

Contacted them to unclog my upstairs bathroom drain as well as about replacing my old drum trap. They were initially very responsive which was great but they never showed up the day of my appointment. I contacted them back and told them and they said someone was supposed to have contacted me about not making it but they never did. I did choose to reschedule since they were responsive so far. The next appointment was supposed to be first thing Monday morning and again they were a no show. Contacted them again about it but no response now.

First, I called to fix a toilet issue, was told the toilet couldn't be fixed and that I needed a new toilet. Paid for a new toilet to be installed and the new toilet doesn’t work/flush. I called for a solution or fix and was told that they would look at it but I would be charged again. Second, was charged over $300 for an easy 20 minute job to install a new $40 shower cartridge. Brought them business in the past, but never again.

I contacted Faust Plumbing since September 13th trying to book a plumber. I kept getting the run around whereas the plumber had already did a previous job and the company was aware of the next request. Jodi finally booked the appointment after 45 days.
I asked normal customer service inquiry to check out the person coming credentials. I asked Jodi for the name of the plumber, she responded Mark. I asked for the full name. Like pulling teeth. I contacted Faust after several failed attempts to unclog some basement pipes myself. I'm so glad I did! Extremely responsive, asking the right questions, and getting someone out to help immediately (who, by the way, showed up when they actually said he would; none of this waiting around during a four-hour window nonsense). The service was efficient and didn't leave a mess. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. He even offered advice on a few other plumbing-related questions I had about random things throughout the house. Would (will!) hire again!!

Had prompt response from my inquiry. Estimate provided, & seemed reasonable. John arrived promptly, reviewed my issues (including one that popped up the night before the appt.)
Explained ability to repair, & was most efficient getting the job done. Showed me defective parts with the unexpected repair, & fulfilled the job despite not having been part of the original request.

Bryan(owner) responded to my request within an hour and was of great assistance when it came to a budgetary quote for the work I needed done. He immediately provided a rough timeline of when a technician could come to my house. Originally, it was going to be 5-7 days as my issue was not emergent. Next day Bryan reached and told me that there was a cancellation and he had a technician available same day.
Technician came out and made quick and easy work to add a water line to my fridge and fixed my hot water pressure.

I've had the guys from Faust over a few times now for a variety of needs since my first call - leaks on our old cast iron well pump fittings, re-routing water lines for outdoor faucets so they go thru the iron filter, install of an in-line whole-house water filter, and even piping for a generator gas line. Staff has always been super friendly, they arrive on time and get the job done with reasonable fees. Definitely 5 star service and I'd recommend them any day.

Just finished the second commercial project with Faust Co Inc as the plumbing contractor. New bathrooms, water heater, slop sink, etc... Outstanding service each time. Mark's work preparing for fixtures to be installed and installing fixtures is exceptional. He is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond expectations to help get the work done properly and on time. Bryan is also responsive and helpful when I call with questions or need to schedule work. Pricing has been more than fair. Going forward, I will not use anyone else. I would highly recommend Faust Co.

Bryan Faust took my call, gave me guidance on getting my own disposal vs. using one of his, had someone out the next day to install it, replace a P-Trap, and snake my drain. All is in fine working order now! Plus they gave us some guidance on a future bathroom remodel. Bill was emailed, fair, and easy to pay quickly online. Now our plumber for life!

We noted the leak on a Sunday, so I assumed my request to Yelp for local contractors would be unanswered until at least Monday or Tuesday. Within an hour, the owner replied to me with a quote and set up a time for the repair. The quote was much more reasonable that projects we've had completed from other plumbers in the past, so we got it on the calendar right away.

I was in a tight spot with our bathtub not draining. I tried to unclog it myself but nothing worked. I did a search and came across Faust Co. The reviews were good so I sent a request for a quote last night. Before they even opened I received a response back from Bryan with a quote. I know anything with plumbing is not cheap but there is a reason for that. Bryan's quote was very reasonable and not sky high like some of the other companies.

Details of the plumbing issue aside, the response from this company rates 10 stars! Without prompting from me, the dispatcher took it upon herself to text a serviceman in the field to see if he could fit me in today. In less than one hour, Joe arrived, took care of the issue and all is well. My thanks to Jody. I'm grateful for this great service experience!
