I was recommended to Cheaper Floors by a good friend who is in the construction business. I have to admit, I was super reluctant to drive 40 minutes to look at floors, bypassing at least 30 nearby floor showrooms. After doing so, I was glad I did. (The sign outside says Portifino, which made me think I was lost). I found the perfect floors for my rental home, and was so happy with the quality and price that I ended up changing the floors to my home as well. Their spc flooring is thicker, and more durable than any other I've seen. They demonstrated durability by scraping the floors with keys

I love how they have displays of materials that aren't just a 5"x5" square. What made my decision easy was the floor to ceiling sample size. I instantly knew what I wanted in my new luxury vinyl planking and I received a great price. The color is as perfect to what I was looking for. I can't wait for it to be installed!

For anyone lookin for the best price and great product ... you must come by and speak with Max . You won't regret it.
For the one stars ratings ... I wouldn't take their feedback into consideration. If you want "cheap" meaning expecting to pay pennies for great product you are wasting time on looking for a bargain and not getting your projects complete. You get what you pay for . Shame shame

I don't like writing reviews, so the fact that I am taking my time to do this for Portofino (Cheaper Floors) is a testament to their value and service. Both Max and Terry are very helpful and knowledgeable about the products they sell. They also have one of the largest and widest selections of materials that we could find, compared to their competition. On top of all that, they also beat the prices we were quoted by others (including Home Depot and Lowes) by a wide margin.

One year later, we went back to Portofino Floors. This time, we met Max's new partner, Terry. Terry is elegant and friendly, she was also accurate and helpful.
I ordered the same pergo floors as last year. Unfortunately the price went up this year. Max still gave me the same price. The price is one of the reason why Max's customers love him so much. The other reason must be the interesting conversation.
I also asked Max is there anyone he know who can do a good job on flooring. He referred Jose Mayorga to me. Jose was easy to communicate. He and his helper did a very good job. After

No one greeted us upon our entrance even through the person on the floor clearly saw us. I asked the person politely if they had changed the name of the business from Cheaper Floors to Portofino...he was very rude in his reply and pointed towards a car parked in the front which had Cheaper floors logo. We felt so insulted the way he responded that we decided to leave immediately, and mentioned we will share our experience on yelp to which he replied he didn't care.
