With more than 25 years of experience in the fire protection industry, our management team established CONTROL FIRE to provide fire sprinkler services to the growing and under-served Bay Area residential fire protection market.
In 2016, after selling his previous Fire Sprinkler Company (Seize Fire) to a large, national company, Jason Leake left to found CONTROL FIRE with the goal of providing, individual and efficient service through a regionally based and locally committed organization, focusing on the residential fire protection market.

Services
As a result of the economic slowdown in 2008, a great deal of multi-family projects were shelved. This has resulted in a shortage of residential units in the Bay Area. With extensive experience in multi-family projects we can design and install a system for your 2-unit duplex or your 500-unit apartment building, applying the respective codes to ensure your tenants and structure are safe from the ravages of fire.
With extensive experience in residential systems we will design and install a system that meets the elevated expectations of our Bay Area clients. We understand that home is where we each spend most of our time. As such, a safe, reliable life-safety system along with an aesthetically pleasing finished look is of extreme importance to us.
In some instances you may need fire sprinkler information before you even decide if you want to build. We offer consulting to our clients to perform pre-design and pre-construction services when fire flow and design criteria are a must in the early stages of planning.
We'll contact the fire dept and water department on your behalf and use our long-lasting relationships with local municipalities to provide a smooth and efficient process through each municipality and their respective approval processes. With a talented design team, specializing in residential systems, we design systems from projects as small as a 1-head shed system up to an 10,000-head, multi-family, high-rise system and everything in between.

No, only direct heat of at least 155 degrees will trigger the activation of a sprinkler head. Will I have to look at big, ugly, brass-colored sprinklers like the ones in that old department store? No, in almost all instances we can install a fully-recessed sprinkler head with a flat, white cover plate that sits flush to your ceiling.

Control Fire's communication and supporting is excellent! My house loft has PSL floor frame around and it was difficult to design without touching them. However, they made it with lot of effort and great communication. Even my house project is not done yet I believe they can handle it like now till finish. Great thanks to Garrett( plan designer) , Jason, Gustavo and team. I will update my review later again after the final inspection.

It is not easy to find an indoor residential fire sprinkler repair technician for a house call on the Peninsula! So frustrating. I had a leaky sprinkler head (a slow drip) in the hallway not long ago and I hoped to find someone within a day or two so I could avoid turning off the main water to the house.
For the record, I did not use this service, Control Fire. They were very busy but the owner did call me back and he left a very nice message. He said that it would be several days before they could come for a repair job. I'm posting this information in hopes it will help others in my area
