If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Called to ask if they take walk ins for a quick oil change. The man on the phone said yes, "come on in, we aren't busy!" I show up in the next 10-15 minutes, walk in, and get blank stares by the guy who was just on the phone with me. No hello, no greeting to say hi and welcome, nothing. I ask if I can get an oil change and he proceeds to say he might not be able to fit me in without an appt - he looks angry Im there bec it was close to 345pm and maybe they were closing soon? Anyways, he takes a few minutes on the computer to take down

I'm new to Socal. I do all my own work on my car. Have been for over 15 years. I'm sceptical when it comes to repair shops. This place almost singly handedly turned my skepticism around. I was looking to replace my fuel filter and I was short on time. Irvine Auto repair had me in and out in 15 minutes at a very fair price. To say I'm impressed is an understatement. I will be a returning customer and will send any business I can their way. The staff was polite, mechanics were honest and the place is spotless clean 🔥

I just bought a 1995 Nissan Pickup. The previous owner had not registered the vehicle for the previous 5 years so I needed to get a SMOG on it. The issue was that there was also a check engine light on the vehicle. I called several SMOG check places and they all told me horror stories over the phone and how it would be so hard because of the age of the vehicle. I took it to Irvine Auto repair and they were able to find out what the problem was with the check engine light, get it repaired and SMOG the vehicle. IT PASSED! They did all of this for a very reasonable price. I will take my vehicles there

I've been going to Irvine Auto Repair for over 10 years. Ronnie has always provided me with excellent, honest service and fair prices. I had several bad experiences with other auto repair shops before discovering Irvine Auto. Unlike my prior experiences, there is rarely a problem that gets "discovered" during a routine check-up at Irvine Auto. Ronnie has never tried to upsell me into unnecessary repairs and often tells me during check-ups that everything looks great, no service required. I wouldn't trust my cars with anyone else.

I came here months ago to have my front shock and strut replaced. I was told it could be fixed for around $500 - ok, seemed expensive to me but its something I needed done.
After waiting all day for the repair to finish, it was finally done. Great, so I leave and once my car got past 15MPH, THE WHOLE CAR STARTED SHAKING.
.......this was why I brought it in initially! For that problem! Then they *fixed it*! But it continued!
NO NO NO. If you test drove my car, how can you possibly allow this to happen? HOW can you tell me 'its done' and that youve test driven it when

My car battery happened to die near their shop and I wandered in asking for some help. Ronnie, Jesus and one other mechanic were all so helpful even though they had several other clients they were helping. The got my car started right away, gave it a quick check, helped me with one other item and wouldn't take any payment for me.

They desperately need to use the ac on hot days like today. Letting their waiting area stay 99 degrees is inhumane. Much more expensive oil changes than the surrounding shops, but they were the only ones with last minute availability .. which is probably why.
If I got desperate I would consider them again, but definitely not worth it if you have other last minute options.

Ronnie has been taking care of my Fords for nearly 8 years now. I can't say enough great things about the care he takes in explaining the problems and solutions to me. To top it off, he really has the customer's best interest at heart.
