I will start and end this review with the same comment..."I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RIAMU ENTERTAINMENT!" My now wife and I hired Umair to perform a fusion wedding that incorporated both the Hindu and Christian wedding ceremonies, and we nor our guests were disappointed. This encompassed everything from the Baraat, to music at both ceremonies (and intermission), cocktail hour services, and of course, the reception. DJ Raj was our wedding DJ for our baraat, ceremony, and reception. He did an amazing job of getting the party going at the baraat and reception -- we were dancing until the very last minute. Many guests came up to me to compliment the DJ during and after the event. Riamu owner Umair was great to work with leading up to the event and helped guide me through the many decisions that go into planning wedding music. A great experience!

Umair was our DJ and MC for our mehndi and wedding. We didn't know what to expect, because we were planning a Pakistani-American fusion wedding in Alaska (!!!) so, of course, the crowd was super diverse, and - as any bride and groom will attest - we were worried about getting people to dance at our wedding. Turns out we had no reason at all to be nervous. Umair and Luis were TERRIFIC! They brought the house down BOTH nights! Umair and Luis read the crowd SO well - there was hardly a moment were our guests weren't dancing!! Umair was also an awesome MC. Some DJs can be awkward or annoying

Umair and his team are INCREDIBLE at what they do! We used them for lighting and DJing two events. I'm a wedding planner, so I am very particular about the vendors that I use, and they did not disappoint! They are a finely tuned machine both the day of and with Umair's customer service prior to the wedding. The lighting the day of was absolutely beautiful and Raj as our DJ and emcee knocked it out of the park! Look forward to working with them again!

My husband and I are so glad we chose Riamu Entertainment for our wedding! Umair and Sammy did a great job! We really appreciated their hard work and how personable and fun they were with the guests and getting them pumped up.
The lighting, dance floor, and all the Dj services were amazing and added a great touch to our wedding! Umair was awesome!!! Hired him for our wedding in November. He was really easy to work with and very detail oriented. He made sure we had all of the necessary equipment at all of the events and that all the music was queued up properly. Hired Umair to DJ our Walima and let me just get this out of the way from the start: he killed it!!
I emailed him an outline of the event before the day of the event and was worried if he'd be able to MC the event as I had envisioned it. But my fears were quickly assuaged when at the start of the event I saw him organizing our entrances, which I wasn't expecting for him to do. He was very helpful with organizing and we didn't even have to ask him!
Music was on point as well and he delivered with a mix of different songs.

I hope I have another event in the future so that I can hire Umair and his team at Riamu again. They were not only immensely talented, but also a steadying presence during the craziness of planning a wedding. As if that was not enough, the guests loved them. We hired Riamu for lighting and music for our wedding in Palm Springs. They did an amazing job and many of our guests came up to us to tell us how much they loved the music. They put together multiple sound set ups for our Sangeet (outdoor + indoor parties), multiple set ups for the Bharat (mobile DJ for horse + audio and music for ceremony), and also took care of the reception music and lighting. We've worked with Umair on two events now- our wedding of almost 300 guests and an intimate birthday party of about 25 people. During both events, he went out of his way to help us during the planning process. He DJ'd our wedding himself, did the lighting, and all the A/V set up for speeches and performances, etc. Everything went smoothly and when there was a glitch, he was quick to fix things on the spot. Umair was the DJ for our 200 person wedding, and we were extremely happy with the decision that we made. He was professional and helpful throughout each stage of the wedding planning process. I wanted Riamu to be the DJ for our Punjabi-fusion wedding in San Diego in December 2013 because I was confident that he'd be able to keep everyone dancing all night by switching it up between bhangra and American music, and he sure did deliver!
