Services
Civil cases involve conflicts between two parties. Typically, one party is seeking compensation from the other. In other words, one person or business claims to have been harmed in some way by the actions of another person or business. A plaintiff may ask a court to award damages from the defendant to compensate for the injury or harm suffered.
If you are accused of committing a crime anywhere in New Hampshire or Vermont, you should be represented by an attorney. You do not need to speak with police without a lawyer present, and you are encouraged to exercise that right. It is in your best interest to remain silent about any alleged crime until your lawyer is present.
In addition to civil litigation and criminal defense, Montshire Law also provides legal representation in family law cases, business/corporate matters, estate planning, personal injury, and more. Family law involves divorce, separation, custody, support, visitation, the division of assets, and many other issues relating to children, marriage and family relationships.
