Services
What if my child is admitted to the hospital? If there is ever a reason for a hospital admission then advise the hospital that Dr. Byron Cotton is the pediatrician. There can then be ongoing communication with our office, a discharge summary is sent to us, and follow up is done in our office as necessary.
If you need to cancel/reschedule an appointment, please be sure to call 24 hours in advance of the appointment for one child and 48 hours for multiple children. If you do not give advance notice, it will be considered a No Show. You will receive a warning after 2 (two ) No Shows and then you will be required to pay a fee of $25.00 per no show before scheduling another appointment.
Our friendly, knowledgeable staff works hard to make your visits to our office as smooth as possible. Kids & Teens Primary Healthcare takes pride in offering a range of providers and appointment times to accommodate your schedule. Please call our office to schedule any appointments and our front desk staff will accommodate your desired time to the best of their ability.
The schedule for well visits is listed below. We schedule well visits up to 1 year in advance, and for infants the next appointment is scheduled when you leave each checkup. For older children and teens many parents schedule checkups around their child's birthday, while it seems that many others wait for the spring and summer, making that a very busy time to get the appointments.
At Kids & Teens Primary Healthcare, we schedule sick visits, recheck visits, and visits for more chronic conditions in advance or the same day when available. We reserve slots each day for children who need to be seen that day for an acute illness or injury. Calling at 8:00 am, is generally the best way to be sure your child gets a slot.

I wanted to review the doctor office in hope for increase cleaning and COVID-19 procedures. They asked my daughter for urine and pointed us in the direction of the rest room which was filthy and urine on the toilet seat and floor. In addition there was no one sterilizing the ink pens and rooms after each use. I was more afraid of catching the coronavirus at the doctor's office than the grocery store. There was also 3 families in the waiting room area.
Recommendation:
1. Clean bathrooms after each use
2. Sterilize ink pens after each use
3. Have families wait in there car until the dr. Or team

Let me start by saying Dr. Cotton and Nurse Gayla are wonderful professionals. However the office staff over the past 11 years has grown to be increasingly discourteous, unprofessional and just lack basic customer service skills. I have 5 children that will no longer be coming to this office due to this lack of professionalism. I am very disheartened to have to move my children from a doctor we are so comfortable with but I will no longer tolerate the stress of the office staff from front desk to billing. Dr Cotton I wish you many more years of prosperity and hope you will seriously crack down

I hate to have to write this review, but I think it is fair that people who are not familiar with this office know what they will be dealing with. We have been visiting this office for over 6 years and unfortunately the customer service has become very poor over the past few years. We will no longer be visiting this office after having several negative experiences with the front desk, whether it be over the phone or in person. They will tell you one thing over the phone and then when you arrive for the appointment they will tell you something totally different. Even Dr. Cotton told me he would
