Founded in 1977 by Louis Kohley, the primary focus of Fab-Tec Industries was rebuilding and assembly of Steel Mill Equipment. After his unexpected death in 1981, his wife Donna and sons Louis, Daniel, and Philip Kohley stepped in to continue the growth of Fab-Tec. In 1986, Fab-Tec purchased the industrial park where it currently resides.
Fab-Tec has a long-standing relationship with a network of Quality Machining Vendors which provides the capability to machine a wide variety of components. With an in-house machining inspector to ensure every job is set up and machined correctly the first time, Fab-Tec ensures your project is completed on-time with the highest quality.
Fab-Tec is capable of providing many different high performance coating systems including wet painting, powder coating, and galvanizing. Due to the increasing demand for high quality performance coatings, Fab-Tec has expanded the painting operations by adding brand new blast and paint booths with 18' x 18' x 50' inside dimensions.
By combining a variety of welding processes and tools with qualified, experienced craftsmen who assure that your project passes every inspection and fulfills the quality standards. Utilizing Fabtrol MRP software, material traceability is maintained through each and every phase of processing to ensure all parts meet the design criteria.
Project Management is an extremely important aspect of every job. Fab-Tec has project managers who work to ensure all phases of the project are completed on time. Fab-Tec's Engineering Department is very detail oriented and puts a great deal of focus on the project planning phase to make sure all manufacturing and project details are presented properly to avoid costly manufacturing issues and/or schedule impacts.

I'm a current employee of Fab Tec Industries. This is the second time I have worked for Fab Tec. I have to say it is one of the best welding shop companies to work for. It is family owned and they show it by treating their employees with respect and professionalism. The quality we perform on the products is some of the best work I've down at any shop I've worked for. Nothing is ever missed. The company benifits are good, (full paid benifits) . I really enjoy working for the Kohley's. I definitely recommend working here. I would also recommend it for anyone looking to have fabrication work done
