Services
Established in 2012, Edge Dance & Performing Arts Center provides excellence in the arts for Dance, Theatre and Vocal instruction. Our highly skilled staff of instructors are equipped with many years of both performance and teaching experience. Studies have shown that dance can help children grow physically, emotionally, and intellectually.
The purpose of the class is to introduce young dancers to the three styles of dance and inspire movement and creativity within a positive environment. Dancers also learn basic steps and terminology in all three styles. This class will spend portions of the time working on two or more different styles, giving the children a fantastic base and exposure to different types of dance.
Make sure that you have the most up to date Dress Code Information For Classes. Why is Dress Code Important for Dance Classes? 1) Helps a young dancer understand they are going to a structured class (compared to unstructured playtime). 2 Ensures that the clothing is not a distraction during class. 3 Ensures that the dancer is appropriately dressed to be necessarily covered.
All Edge Dance students ages 2yrs & up are invited to participate in this holiday recital with us! Cost to Participate: Includes your student's costume, tights (if necessary) and a digital download of the performance. We know that many of our students take multiple classes and may need additional costumes.
This program starts at 5 years old. This is a great place to start for any aspiring actor. It is a nurturing learning environment for any student that is ready to make a commitment to being in a production. We hold auditions for all of our Kids productions as part of the learning process, but all students who audition are cast in our Kids productions.
