Services
We protect our clients' professional reputations and advocate for the compensation they deserve. Our attorneys advise on severance agreements and negotiate severance pay, bonuses, stock and other benefits. We advocate for employees who are in a job transition to leave with dignity and their earned compensation.
While taking on issues within the broad employment law landscape can seem insurmountable, know that you are not alone. Every case is unique and we tailor our practice to best serve you with care and compassion. Our attorneys have decades of experience navigating the complex relationship between employer and employee and are ready to help you.
Most employment is "at-will" meaning that an employee can quit anytime and be fired anytime, as long as the reasons are legally valid. In Massachusetts, all employment is deemed at-will, unless there is evidence to the contrary, like a jointly signed employment contract with terms of termination specifically listed.
Proving a case of discrimination includes gathering evidence relating to employer motive, specific inequality, and policies and practices of the employer. If your employer treats you differently than other employees, you might be facing discrimination. Discrimination laws protect current employees and prospective workers.
There are two main types of workplace sexual harassment - quid pro quo and hostile work environment. Quid pro quo harassment occurs when some type of benefit is offered contingent upon sexual favors. Usually, this type of sexual harassment occurs between a supervisor and a subordinate. Sexual harassment that creates a hostile work environment occurs when there are frequent unwanted sexual comments or advances.

I really like to thank this firm for their more than timely response as well as just making me feel like I was heard as well as listened to. Empathized with my situation and very courteous compassionate as well as professional at the same time. Despite not being able to handle my issue at this time I was given other options and information on this issue. I absolutely would love to recommend this firm for your legal issues and for prompt attentive service. If I happen to have a legal issue in the future this is the very FIRST firm I’d call and I recommend you do as well. I’d like to thank Rob

Working with Maura Greene Law Group was a great experience from beginning to end. During my first meeting with Josh, it was refreshing to talk about my case and feel heard/understood. Josh, Darshana and Maura took the time to study my case and were always equipped with options and possible outcomes. When presented with outcomes, I always felt prepared to make decisions based off of the facts and not the emotions attached to the case. The team was also very thorough, communicative and available to answer any of my questions. I felt informed about my case at all times. Every update email was followed

Find another firm. Lied about my case to me. Then quit.
They take your fees and can't do what they say . Then deny it.

Maura and Josh are the consummate team of professionals. Instead of immediately just going in with guns blazing, they took the time to think through my problem and formulate an overall strategy that enabled me to get the exact results I needed. I recommend them without any reservations and, they will certainly be my choice for any legal assistance I may need in the future!

Unethical attorney, stay away!
I reached out to Maura Greene office to get a lawyer for my employment discrimination and I had an initial intake-call with Josh. I was told that I would have to pay for a consultation. I was very reluctant as most attorneys can tell you if their interested in your case with the information I had given. Her office kept called by me to make an appointment so I finally decided to pay 400 dollars for a hour long conversation with Maura. During the call Maura asked questions that seemed as if she was skeptical of me and my case and was also asking how much do you what

I had never had experience consulting a labor lawyer, but I happened to do my research and discovered an exceptional one in Maura. Maura is thoroughly informed, thoughtful, and as a client, I could tell she was truly invested in helping me to bring justice to my situation. Not only was Maura sincere and more than adept at her position, she also was always available when I needed to talk or ask questions. If unavailable, I would receive a prompt response from her. She truly engaged me throughout the legal procedure, start to finish, even taking time to chat with me after my case was resolved,
