Production Paint Finishers, Inc. (PPF) started in 1970 when founder Larry Francis decided to break away from his father's automobile dealership, as he says, "With a paint gun in hand and no orders." Larry began by painting camper parts for Airstream in an old wooden building.
After much work, his quality oriented, hardworking beginnings led to jobs for companies like Huffy, Shopsmith, Stanley, and Copeland, which resulted in a new and bigger facility in 1976.As PPF's reputation for quality and craftsmanship grew, the company added on to its building in 1980-and again in 1989, 1997, and 2007.

Using many types of liquid coating specifications, Production Paint Finishers, Inc. ably meets your demands for high quality liquid painting and liquid coating. Depending on size, liquid parts run through our 12-stage zinc phosphate pretreatment system. Or, if they are oversized, they will be blasted (utilizing a variety of media) and phosphated with our large part cleaning system, which features a wand-operated high-pressure washer.
Military CARC (stands for Chemical Agent Resistant Coatings) and are used extensively on military vehicles and equipment. These coatings produce a non-porous coat that impedes radioactivity, chemical and biological contaminants from penetrating the coating and the base material. Instead of penetrating the coating, chemicals bead up on the exterior of the surface and are washed off easily.
Production Paint Finishers can meet your military (CARC) and commercial parts cleaning pretreatment specifications with our state-of-the-art 12-stage stainless steel parts washer and waste water treatment system. We do Zinc Phosphate on steel parts and Alodine 5900 on aluminum parts. If you have oversized parts, they will be cleaned and phosphated with our large part cleaning system, which features a wand-operated high-pressure washer.
