Living Therapy
I provide counseling for individuals, couples, and groups. My work includes assisting clients in developing healthy relationship patterns, coping with anxiety or depression, addressing past trauma, or exploring personal growth. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. As a certified yoga instructor, I often incorporate mindfulness strategies, yoga, or other body work into my therapy practice.

I welcome individuals and couples who identify on the LGBTQ spectrum, and those who identify as sex positive or polyamorous. My practice is kink friendly. I received my master's degree in counseling psychology from the University of Maryland's European Division. I have worked in a variety of counseling settings, including non-profit agencies, the Philadelphia prison system, and private practice.
Services
People seek therapy for help with many different issues or concerns. Because you are human, it is likely that your issues or concerns are not very different from others who have sought therapy before you. Any of us can experience trauma. Traumatic experiences can range from natural disasters or accidents to interpersonal violence, combat, or abuse.
My guiding approach to therapy is humanistic, meaning I view my clients as unique individuals who are capable of tapping into their own abilities to learn, grow, and find meaning in their lives. I have a strong background in trauma, and many clients seek me out specifically to do work around past traumatic experiences.
Therapy sessions are scheduled weekly and are 50 minutes in length. Some individuals may require more or less frequent visits, and some therapeutic interventions may require longer sessions, which generally do not exceed 90 minutes. Group therapy sessions are a cost effective alternative or addition to individual therapy.
