From romance to adventure, we have created a variety of packages and specials to help enhance your stay at our Banner Elk bed and breakfast!
At our bed and breakfast, we offer a variety of lodging options near Banner Elk. All our rooms, cottages, and cabins are unique and all have private baths, include homemade breakfast for two as well as well as a selection of our home made baked goods. All cabins have their own private or semi-private entrances.
Our Gift Certificates are flexible and open ended, are valid for two years from the date of purchase, and can be used for any available room, cottage or cabin at any time without exclusions or blackout dates. The beneficiary simply selects the best date, time, and accommodations. Gift Certificates from our Inn are treated as cash towards the guest's stay and can be purchased in any dollar amount.
Check out our events, activities, and amenities that are available to both our guests and the community. Enjoy a float on the Watauga River from our exclusive access point. We will drop you off on the Watauga River and you'll get out at Mast Farm Inn where your towels and picnic will be waiting! Wear water shoes.
All Mast Farm Inn guests enjoy a hearty, hand-made, two-course country gourmet breakfast every morning from our kitchen. We are also open to the public on Saturday and Sunday mornings. We are thrilled to serve our neighbors the oatmeal, grits, biscuits, and French toast that our guests know and love.

Wow is all I have to say. What a romantic
place. We were able to reschedule due to weather which we appreciated. Even though we had to switch the cabin of our choice due to availability, we still absolutely loved our stay. This little slice of heaven is frozen in time. We loved stepping into the farmhouse for tea/ coffee, sweets and a bar. We took our bevs and hung out all night by the fireplace inside. We also loved that we could hang out with the horses on-site! I really took a liking to Oliver as he let me pet him! This property is nestled in a gorgeous valley with streams and Mountain View’s

This was our third stay here and it's becoming a tradition. My (now) husband and I came here on our first trip together as a couple and stayed in the Woodwork Shop. I was instantly enchanted. The sweet little sitting area, the loft, and the clawfoot tub created such a cozy, romantic setting. Not to mention being able to sit by the pond behind the cabin or sit under the eaves in the front of the cabin and play cards on a warm June night. This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was perfect and the complimentary breakfast was yummy! If you have the opportunity to try the French toast, take it!!!
Also, the owner, Melody, was friendly and helpful offering numerous tips on places to go for great views and dining options.

We eloped here and had a small dinner with our 6 family members after. Planning with Melody was very easy and she made us feel so comfortable. The Granary cabin is gorgeous and we loved the little touches like fresh flowers welcoming us and a personalized letter. The staff provided us with smores and a campfire after dinner and it was the best wedding "reception" for us! Velva helped us out and baked our wedding cakes. She really is so hospitable and kind. The food was amazing and tasty as well. Melody paired our food with wine and it was perfect. We will definitely be coming back to this special

For the weekend of August 6th-August 8th, my husband and I stayed at The Mast Farm Inn for our 33rd wedding anniversary. They were super professional, welcoming and The Inn was very clean. The coffee basket they left at our door in the mornings was like a surprise gift. The breakfasts were awesome too. LOVED the bar and grounds.

We had a lovely visit. Especially liked the coffee and tea delivered to our door before we went down for breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, they were really delicious! The Inn was up to date and very clean. Although we did not spend too much time at the Inn, we met sweet new friends, slept really well, and loved walking around the grounds.

To Melody, Kelley and the entire staff, thank you! Our AirBnb double booked us and the great folks here came to the rescue and were able to accommodate our party of 6. The cabin we stayed in far surpassed any expectation and the accommodations were perfect. The grounds were impeccable, the staff went above and beyond in every regards and the breakfast was a surprise delight (even made dietary accommodations).
Although we did not intend to stay there, I’m glad that we did, it made the memories that much better. This is a no brainer stop for anyone visiting Boone and a destination stop for someone

Absolutely the best experience I have had in a very long time. The property is just spectacular in the most gorgeous location close to everything that the High Country had to offer. The staff is friendly and helpful. The property is well taken care off and offers a glimpse into yesteryear and days gone by. I highly recommend! Wish we could have stayed longer.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful 2 night visit to the Mast Farm Inn. It is a beautiful, old farm house (and out buildings) located in a lovely, quiet country setting. We loved everything about the accommodations but especially noteworthy were the amazing breakfasts that were served to us each morning. Not to be missed is the chef's incredible oatmeal. You might think oatmeal isn't particularly exciting but let me say, this is the best you'll ever taste! In fact, every single thing we were served was incredible!
