BESFI is a not-for-profit organization incorporated in the State of New York with the primary purpose of promoting ballet education in Suffolk County. By providing grants and scholarships and offering workshops to local dancers, BESFI enables young artists to participate in ballet programs that are not readily available to them or which are beyond their financial resources.

In providing professionally staged dance performances, BESFI is able to promote the arts by catering to the need for young artists to perform and the community's desire for quality entertainment. To everyone's benefit, BESFI has had unparalleled success in bringing noted guest artists and teachers to Long Island.

Seiskaya is a place where a child learns correct ballet technique, but more importantly, they learn life lessons. They learn balance in all things. My daughter danced there From 1999 until she went off to college in the Fall of 2010. She is now a professional dancer. Not all the students become professional dancers, but most of them are very successful in life. There are doctors, nurses, lawyers, accountants, financial planners, teachers, and many who have become very successful as dancers or other careers. It’s a great place to go!
