Deborah Morgan established the Deborah Morgan Dance Studio in Turlock, California in 1977 on a part-time basis with 50 students while she completed her studies at San Jose State University, which led to the 1978 Bachlor's Degree with Honors in Performing Arts, with a concentration in Dance and a Music minor.
Deborah is also a Credentialed Certified Instructor for American Ballet Theatre (ABT) in New York, New York. Conitnued expansion of the Turlock studio enrollment necessitated a move to larger quarters in 1984 with two separate studios and dance floors. 1994 marked the opening of the North Modesto site to serve the demands of the area.

Services
Dance classes are offered in jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet and pointe. Classes are offered for ages 3 to adult. Classes are held Monday through Friday with occasional special events offered on Saturdays. Ballet/tap combination classes are offered for our little ones, and jazz/tap combination classes for our older dancers.
A $48.00 payment for lessons is due on or before the first lesson of each month to receive the discount price; payments not recieved by the dancer's second lesson of the month will increase $6.00, therefore, totaling $54.00. Returned checks incur a charge of $25.00 or 3 times the amount of the check or $100.00 minimum; after two returned checks -- cash only.

We love Deborah. My daughter has been dancing for 6 plus year's with 2 different schools. We found Deborah Morgan Dance Studio in December of 2018. We were with another dance studio that DIDN'T work out for my… daughter. Deborah let my daughter come in even though they were already learning recital dance routines which my daughter will be dancing in her first recital with Deborah Morgan in a couple of week's. Within a short few months my daughter has been with Deborah and her staff they have made my daughter feel welcomed, loved and has made my daughter fall in love with dance again. Deborah

I danced for Deborah from age 5-18. I recommend dancing for her if you don't already. She is very structured, talented and has a heart of gold. The DMDS staff are like family to us. The dancers are respected and taught to respect themselves as well as others, taught to work hard and hard work WILL pay off. I have been part of DMDS for 26 years and can't say enough about how Deborah has helped shape me into the woman I am today. Not only did I find my passion for dance, but also confidence, grace, perseverance, and a number of other qualities that I'm so thankful I have attained because of Deborah and the studio. I have been coming to the Deborah Morgan Dance Studio for 20 years now (between 2 daughters) and her commitment to her dancing families is genuine and heartfelt. Not only does she teach her dancers proper technique, but she teaches them poise and grace as well. I thank her for helping me raise my daughters to be fine young ladies.
